Depends on where the ordering dealer is located. Porsche sells cars to dealers, not customers. A dealer in Arizona will get cars shipped to San Diego and then trucked to Arizona. The email I saw from Porsche NA, says that dealers are not allowed to transfer a vehicle out of their state until CARB is approved.

Yup, that sort of a scenario is probably correct. If you bought the car from a dealer in a CARB state and you live in a non-CARB state, you're probably S.O.L. Until CARB releases the cars for delivery to CARB state dealers the dealer doesn't have anything to ship you. UNLESS you're a non-CARB state resident who bought from a CARB state dealer but you're taking delivery at the Atlanta PEC. That'd probably be an unusual combination, but it just might be a way get around this sort of nonsense.

Nope. Shouldn’t be. Believe restriction is that they cannot be released to CARB states yet. Free to release to all others, regardless of port location.

Sweet interior..makes me wonder if I should have gotten those sport cloth seats in contrast colors. Congrats on your car! Stunning!
