The G-posse meet continues to grow.
Greetings,
The Alfa is a 2020 Stelvio base/sport in Rossa with ice interior.
Watching the ship unload would be somewhat unnerving. With the way Alfa has been with this order the car could roll off the pier and sink and my dealer still would not have any delivery info. 😷🚘
Ymmv...

Did you ever get confirmation from your dealer, your Alfa is on the G Poseidon. Which port would it have been loaded? Curious...

Never crossed my mind to go to the port! So it’s a great idea. I think I’ll try it out this time

The dealer told me the car was built and scheduled for the Poseidon but couldnt give me anymore info. Imagine that. Through the Italian Alfa site that I translate daily via Google I learned that they ship out of the port of Salerno.

Oddly, ALFA Romeo Cares, their North American corporate customer service, couldn't confirm that it was even built. But with the vin number I was able to download the factory build sheets so I'm pretty sure it is built. Or it isnt...at this point I wouldn't be surprised by anything they tell me...although they may be surprised when I tell them how much I'm now willing to pay them for it once it clears customs.

Oh my...... Track Your Dream may be tweaky but I'll never complain about it again after reading this. Good luck, Bob.

Thanks. I've ordered European cars before so I thought I knew the drill...but that was pre pandemic. I once ordered a Saab 9000 that took 7 months and showed up in black instead of maroon. That was an interesting last minute negotiation because back then I needed the car. Don't really need this one so we will either discuss my price, once I figure it out, or I'll simply walk away. I do really like the Alfa looks, but looks only go so far...😷

Just add the letter previous to your six digits for a personalized plate...Very Cool Vin #...Ours is # S221123 We may do this, but my wife wants me to keep my Purple Heart plate which I have had for over 40 years...Really torn...A fellow Vietnam Vet had his PH plate on his Corvette and someone vandalized his car and the plate since this craziness started.

Thats a cool idea. I’m set with my personal plate. Still have the one off the first 992 lol

I was able to register the VIN on the My Porsche app with ID & commission paperwork too. Helps when taking delivery so you’ll have the Porsche connect code ready to go!

Wow--you have a purple heart plate. Thank you for your service! That's horrible about the vandalized car....it's absolutely tragic that someone would stoop so low to do that.
