I got them installed today. I guess I should wait to break them in cause they sound the same as stock.

I wasn't exactly thrilled with the loudness when I first got mine as well. I had them on my 991.2 as well and they where MUCH louder on that engine than the 992. So I somewhat agree with you. But I clearly hear WAY more induction noise than in stock form. Especially with a set of BMC drop in filters. I hear all kinds of turbo induction noises. I also drive in sport mode every time I drive. Which also makes a difference. In normal mode, they do sound like stock if you ask me.

So I took a good drive today and honestly my car doesn't sound any better with these cats. 3k is so not worth it. I'm going back to stock.

Pm me if anyone would like to buy them. Sigh

Imagine feeling the same disappointment with a $10,000 exhaust that is out there. LOL

exactly my feelings as well...sold mine immediately.
had soul on both my 991.2 gts and it was great.
i do think that the electonic valves are at "fault" as they close during early accelation as the gt3 does but you can disconnect them as they are not electronic as on 992

Well I reinstalled my sport cats on my 2nd 992. I dont know guys. But I can hear a pretty big difference. Check out that turbo spooling sound! I love that. My butt dyno says my car feels faster too.

I don't think it's better than stock. But if that's what the soul cats are supposed to sound like then I guess I don't like them.

What I was aiming for was 20-50 percent more sound volume. That's why I bought them.

If you want more noise, get a different exhaust. The Soul Cats will reduce back pressure since they are 200 CEL and the real benefit is when you tune the motor.

If you want more noise, remove sound deadening material. You might not realize the sound difference, but the people outside your car do. Don't forget the amount of R&D Porsche (and every other manufacturer) does to reduce NVH. Especially now with noise restrictions.

Worm, (or anyone with these for that matter) do you have any audio/video of the sound while driving? I'd love to hear these when under full load at 6k-7k rpm. I care less about what they sound like on the outside, I want to know what they sound like on the inside at RPM.

The utter lack of videos with soul cats on 992 is what's keeping me from getting them. There's like two videos out there. No rev videos. No comparison between stock and the cats.
