I'm going to go with AG over Black/Iceland Green and Paldao wood trim with the Exclusive design wheels in gloss black.

Still haven't decided on the Sport Fascia front end. It will either be that or the Burmester. All my other options are pretty much set.
I’d go SD front over burm if I had to choose. Unless you’re an audiophile; Bose will be exceptional.

I am an audiophile, but I'm not sure the cabin of the 992 really lends itself to audiophile type listening. I do like clarity when I listen but, again, not sure how much difference it makes in the cabin on the road.

That’s exactly my take

Getting the high end sound system in a 911 Coupe (or worse Cab / Targa) is a waste of money given the noisy cockpit. Bose should be plenty. Then, of course, if money is no consideration, go and indulge yourself.

All depends. Even though cars are awful sound environments if you are picky about the sound, getting the best available still matters. Its not going to be incredible but its still better. It just comes down to whether you are picky enough, or rich enough... to justify the HEFTY price. For me its a must-have option and I fall in to the picky, not rich category.

I think the SD front end looks great, but on a light car like that more so than on a darker color. Just my opinion that on a darker color you likely don't see the SD changes as much.

Your Aventurine Green spec looks amazing. I went with the same color but exclusive design wheels in gold (aurum), silver bar, brown roof, clear rear lights, and sports design package.

I like the blue

I submitted my build today - September build with November delivery.

I had a chance to sit in both the 14 way and 18 way seats. Although the side bolsters of the 18 way seats didn’t feel too tight, for some reason the base of my spine was uncomfortable when sitting in them; which is too bad, since I actually preferred the feel of the higher bolsters. The 14 ways seemed more comfortable, but I can see how they may not hold me in place quite as well during higher lateral forces when driving.

Overall, I’m very happy with the build.

Oh, the one option I’m still unsure of is PDCC. A friend has a Targa 4S and didn’t spec it, but said he absolutely would if he ordered again. A few people here said it didn’t make much of a difference, but all the Targa press cars had it and I’ve seen it mentioned multiple times that because the targa has a higher center of gravity and SPASM can’t be optioned, it’s worth getting.

A second option I considered was passing on PDCC and installing the DSC PASM module, as 991 owners who have it have commented on how much better their car feels with it. Unfortunately DSC doesn’t yet make the unit for the 992.

Any thoughts on the “911” rear badge vs the full Targa 4 S script?

I am torn about it. We got “911”. What else do you need to say? On one hand it’s kind of cool to say what trim but there is always a higher trim 911 around the corner lol.

For the grief some people give the Bose system, I feel it’s a pretty substantial upgrade over base, but the Burmester is more of an incremental improvement but at an exponential price increase. And the Bose systems do seem to have improved over time. The Bose in my 2017 Macan Turbo was pretty good but if you told me the Bose system in my 2020 Cayenne Turbo was a Burmester, I’d believe you. So I am hoping for a similar improvement from the 991.2 Bose to the 992.1 Bose. If not, I’ll still be happy.

Normally I debadge. On the TTS my wife insisted that I keep the badge. “If you’re going to spend that kind of money, you need to keep the badge” I find it interesting the random things on this build that she has an opinion on. I did go with paint matched, so it’s a little more subtle.

On the Targa, I’d debadge or go with 911.
