Hmmm, any option you left out? If you’re not trolling then you do certainly have ordered ‘the lot’ - the yellow dials with the burgundy leather clash - reminiscent of MacDonalds ! I think your post would be better on April 1st

Nice build. You might considering adding leather to the backs of your 18-way seats. I was told that the silver backs are plastic and scratch easily. I added that to my build but don’t think I’ll have a photo for you before yours locks. Mine is scheduled to arrive at the dealership in twenty days.

I love red leather with black.

You should buy it, keep it 2 years and let us know what you got for it on the used market.

Hah! Definitely not trolling here and car is definitely coming Mercuriell. Happy to post videos and photos once it arrives. 👍

So I love the look of the Yellow dials from the 458 gauge cluster and how they pop. Hoping to achieve the same effect here.

no good?...

Thanks for useful advice kayjh but I don’t buy or build cars like this for the resale market. I understand most do and it obviously makes sense but I’d be driving this thing daily clocking 15-20k kms a year on it for 5 years whilst enjoying every moment of it. It’ll be worth whatever it’s worth when I’m done with it. I’m hoping I’ll be doing it all over again on the next generation 911 by then 😁

I kind of like the yellow gauges. I'd probably stick with black seatbelts. I think they'll give some contrast against the Bordeaux seats.

Thanks Dan. Yes I wasn’t sure about that option cause I didn’t think I’d be using the back to seats too much. I’m heading into the dealership next week so I’ll make sure to have a look at their demo.

Do the 14-way also have a plastic housing?

Default Burmester in 992

Anyone option the Burmester in their 992? I have not heard one before as none of the demonstrators have them optioned.

I have always optioned them in my Mercs builds and could probably never go back. I’ve read the 992 have a lot more road noise and a lot less sound dampening to save weight so the sound quality is not worth $5k option price.

If you need a name for your car, just call it "Texas Hold'em" since you definitely went "ALL IN" on the config. I'm a firm believer (like a lot of others) in getting what YOU want.

They don’t in the US. I had to buy the 18-way because I wanted Sport Tex - it was required.

If I was getting the sportdesign package on a black car, I'd get the gloss black option.

With a carbon interior and carbon sills, be sure to get GT sport wheel in carbon trim -- you won't regret it, trust me.

That's a LOT of options. My advice is think hard about the ones you'd really regret NOT selecting. Nothing worse than getting the car and wishing everyday that you had ticked that box when ordering the car. I suspect a bunch of the options you selected do not fall into that category though.

For my F12 they'd let you pick a red, yellow, or black tachometer for "free" but they charged extra for white, so I'm not sure that a yellow tach is really a common Ferrari thing (maybe it is? I dunno) ... but if you love the color combo, then get what you want! I don't think the yellow sport chrono dial works, though. The tach should stand out and draw your eye, but the sport chrono dial? Not so much.

+1 on the seat backs for the 18-way seats because the plastic backs just don't look right. And if you are considering the 18-ways vs. 14-ways make sure you sit in them first.

Yes I wasn’t sure about the steering wheel options, I went back and fourth a number of times between leather and Sports Tex as it only allowed me to select carbon trim with additional the heating which I don’t require where I live.

It a very logical argument lol I’ve edited my build 🙏 Carbon Carbon and more Carbon!
