Default Frunk Lid Liner

I used the company Lid Liner for the lid of my 991.2. They don’t have a 992 liner yet, and neither does Suncoast. Has anybody found a company making this yet?

Hi all-Appreciate the interest in our custom lid protection. We have been gauging interest and looks like we are moving forward with production.
We will keep you posted on availability, and of course, make sure you get the best deal!

Haven't seen one yet. Been meaning to meet up with a local 991.2 owner to see how closely the old one fits. Not sure if the company will produce without a 992 to actually test on, but if we can convince that the mold is the same with only minor mounting hole adjustments needed, maybe it will convince them to move forward.

I had one on my 991.2 and it did not transfer to my 992..the shape and holes are quite different.

Darn, thanks for confirming. I thought at least the shape looked similar.

If you're interested, be sure to send a request to https://lidliner.com/pages/contact so that they are aware. They are in Tampa, so I'm sure they have access to a 992.

I asked if they might want to do a group
purchase, too. I can’t believe that Porsche doesn’t have these, or just put it in. There’s not much weight to them.

Awesome, thanks kindly!

For those of you who haven’t installed a lid liner, it is an very easy install, like ten minutes tops. Lid Liner makes a high quality product.

I often pack that frunk and it’s a comfort to know I don’t need to worry about damaging the inside of my hood. I just had five rose bushes in there last week, lol. Anyway, it’s an inexpensive option, and for me, definitely a worthwhile upgrade.

That’s why it’s known as the “missing part”. I’d be interested as well.
