Hi Jim,

Hate to be so direct but how is this a challenge? With Porsche? Are you making it or not? ECD?

Thanks,
Steve

Well, it’s anybody’s guess when they’ll have it. I am anxious to receive it as I was so used to having that protection in the frunk. If it’s like my 991.2 liner, it’s worth the wait - super easy install, perfect fit.

I reached out to Lidliner last weekend and received an update. They were very kind and apologetic but the are moving forward. It’s just slow as they want it right the first time out the door. Can’t blame em.

Back to waiting...sigh.

So, first Porsche for me and I have been driving Toyota Tundras since 2012, the product looks amazing how it fits from the YouTube video I watched. Just wanted to understand the purpose of it because it looks like a mod I would do.

Though I never had one on my 911's before, the frunk lid liner protects the fronk lid if you have a lot of stuff in the frunk when you close it, it can dent the bear metal, scratch, etc. It is a protection for the bear metal of the frunk lid...

In retrospect to my 991.2, the only thing that ever made it to the frunk was smelly chinese food my wife talked me into picking up on the way home.... expecting the same for the forthcoming 992.

Just made myself lol....
