Interested as well. Anyone that is currently using one in a 991? Much rattling and does it leave wear marks on the underside of the paint?

I know this. I just took mine out of my 991 when I traded it in. There were no rattles at all in 40 months of use. It fits snugly so I didn’t get any vibration marks.

I often pack that frunk and it’s a comfort to know I don’t need to worry about damaging the inside of my hood. I just had five rose bushes in there last week, lol. Anyway, it’s an inexpensive option, and for me, definitely a worthwhile upgrade.
Great to hear had one in my 991 and it was awesome.

Anyone know if an Igloo Ice Cube 60 qt. cooler will fit in the frunk of a 718 Spyder?

I wrote to LidLiner again just to let them know that interest persists.

Just picked her up yesterday, and brought a Rubbermaid cooler for shopping, hoping it would fit. Well there it is. Even the SA was surprised how well it fit in. Doesn’t wiggle at all. I’ll just leave it there.

Based on the bumper cover, this looks like either a 991 GT3 or a 981 GT4. Just be aware that the front-back dimension of the frunk in a 992 is ~ 2" shorter (or narrower or whatever) that the previous generation.

FYI - this thread is about the liner for the frunk lid, not the liner.

I haven't heard back from LidLiner. They have gone silent but I see they are still advertising here. Hopefully they will pick up on this project soon.
