Question: At what point did you get a picture of your car after it was produced and where did the picture appear? My car is at the Emden port, but no picture of it has appeared on TYD.
We ordered our build 04/10 receiving a commission number from our dealer the next day.Received an invitation link TYD from Porsche 04/27 related to My Porsche account as we have two Porsches already. We did make some changes from our original order through our dealer and each time we did, it changed the order date, until our freeze point date 06/25. We entered production on 07/15 exiting 07/20 when My Porsche showed up with our production photos. We followed the travel from factory to San Diego Port (Following the G. Poseidon) where it presently sits waiting for EPA certification (Estimate 09/30). We are in limbo as it shows Port processing completed 09/08 and in route to dealer 09/11 which is passed. Arrival at Porsche Center (Dealer) 10/02. We have found TYD to be sketchy at best and all dates are estimated. When I brought up the page this morning our TYD link did not appear but I clicked back and forth with the links at the top left from Porsche USA to My Porsche. It showed up on the second try. Photos are not on TYD...You should find them on My Porsche where you find two links: "Discover Current Phase" & "Track Your Dream"...Photos are found on the "Discover Your Phase".
Heck even TYD and My Porsche don’t agree. I’d venture a guess that these are two separate projects that exist on different computer systems that themselves are not networked with any other of the systems that manage the process from order to build to ship to delivery. I’d guess they are projects that someone in the Sales & Marketing Department came up with. But I’ll bet someone, somewhere within Porsche has to manually manage the transfer and uploading of the data these two consumer facing websites are driven by. As a consumer the promise is extremely attractive. But I’ll bet that the responsibility for making it work falls on a department and/or an individual or several individuals that already had a full time job before this latest flavor of the month/year fell into their lap, While it’s the sort of thing that has the potential to bring value to the brand, it needs a dedicated source of funding and a seat at an upper management level. If not, it will fade into obscurity and expire.
This +1000. This was well put and what many of us have alluded to all throughout this thread. Case in point. TYD shows my car was delivered on July 24 (and that is when I picked it up) but My Porsche, while it shows the correct car configuration along with the proper VIN#, ALSO shows that my car is "currently scheduled" for production. They were in sync up until that point so I was never sure (and never will be) what exactly happened to cause these two systems to go so far off course.
Looks like it's back up, but nothing changed (for me). No changes to the "En Route to Porsche Centre" date (which is showing last Friday), nor do I have my second assembly line photo.
Thanks for the response. "Discover your phase" tells me that the car has not been produced (in phase 2), so no picture. TYD tells me that the car is complete and sitting in Emden waiting to be shipped. I hope TYD is correct!
Discover Current Phase and Track Your Dream synchronized for me this afternoon. Still no production photos, but it does say it has been sitting at Emden since 9/11.

Same for me. Synced up today, but no pics and car is at Emden.
Just checked TYD and my car is on U.S. soil in Rhode Island! One day earlier than TYD projected. From production completion to here In 13 days. Now joining the EPA waiting line.

Curious, what day does your TYD quote as arriving at the dealership? Mine will be in CA in 10 days but my ETA to the dealer is 10/30
On TYD you can click on your car and see the config. Anyone ever seen the Option Descriptions disappear? I tried multiple browsers / multiple offices.... started yesterday afternoon.

Yes, it’s happened to me a couple of times. If I’m remembering correctly, it happened right before the car entered “scheduled for production” — came back a few days later (with all the right options and descriptions). And, it’s happened to me now — started shortly after my car arrived in Emden awaiting a ship. Not sure what it means — although based upon the first time, I’m guessing it has something to do with switching TYD steps and how some back end system reports that to TYD.
