I also looked at both SOUL and Fabspeed. I think you can't go wrong with either. They both use HJS 200 cell cats. I don't think there are any real differences with the sound.

I ended up choosing the Fabspeed cats. I was able to get them a great price (from Vivid Racing) and they were delivered pretty quick. Also, install was pretty easy. I had it done at my dealer and they didn't have any issues with fitment.

Here is a quick video. I haven't had any drone so far. It definitely sounds better in Sport mode (you get more of the pops and burbles).

How much louder than stock would you say it is?

I would say it's ~40% louder in Sport / Sport Plus mode. I don't notice much difference in Normal mode.

Any before/after dyno data? Or any other method of determining power gains? 60-130 time?

No, I didn't do any dyno testing. The car definitely feels fast with the sport cats (but it was already insanely fast before that). The biggest difference for me is the sound.

Sounds awesome! Love the video and that car is gorgeous!

Congratulations you have a really beautiful 992. White is one of my favorite colors.

I am Joe Fabiani the president of Fabspeed Motorsport USA. I have been an active Porsche club member for 30 years and a certified driving instructor, PCA Club racer. The Fabspeed team lives and breathes to make these cars and all exotic cars make more, power, and sports car sound or we dont sell the system.

You have the World's very finest Porsche 992 HJS German Euro 6 HD tri-metallic bolt-on sport catalytic converters that were designed and engineered last year by our Fabspeed team. Every single component is 100% built at Fabspeed Motorsport on our CNC equipment. At Fabspeed, we do not outsource all of our processes as other companies do as actually own our facility and equipment. We have over $5,000,000 of CNC equipment: Flow CNC waterjet cutting, HAAS vertical and HAAS horizontal lathe machining to Bytsronic GermanCNC press bending, to UNISON Limited CNC all electric mandrel bending .............we do it all right here and right now. Over 25+ years of dedicated engineering and execution. Ask our worldwide dealer installer and PCA club racers, DE participants and professional racers.

Fabspeed Motorsport USA was appointed by Klaus Osterhaus and Sven Kampfman as the exclusive importer distributor for HJS Emissions technology systems for all of North & South America over 20 years ago. With Fabspeed you get directly imported HJS products along with a 100% reliable Fabspeed and HJS backed iron-clad guarantee and lifetime warranty. Certain companies are buying HJS catalytic converters " Katalysatoren" from the Black Market or even potentially using counterfeit HJS catalytic converters. HJS has seen it all and ONLY authorizes Fabspeed to market and advertise the HJS brand in North America.
You are all cordially invited to come by and take our tour of our facility and in these times a virtual tour is our pleasure too. We host multiple PCA, Ferrari Club, BMW Club and other car clubs. We are active members and support RENNLIST and the community

All I care about is which sounds better, SOUL or Fabspeed. If they sound the same, then I'll buy whichever one costs less.

HI Steve
I cant speculate on sound levels but I can 100% advise you of the following.

Fabspeed Motorsport USA has been designing, engineering, street & race track testing for over 25+ years. Other companies are a new start up with limited resources and outsource everything and promise everything.

The HJS German catalytic converters that Fabspeed chose were a decision based on engineering, durability, and compliance with direct consultation with HJS Emissions technology AG.
The HJS catalytic converters are the largest possible catalytic converters that will fit the Porsche 992 chassis. These HJS catalytic converters are very special and proprietary to Fabspeed.

The Fabspeed Porsche 992 catalytic converters are an even better larger higher flow HJS catalytic converter than the HJS catalytic converters that we use on the previous generation 991.2 Carrera 3.0Liter Twin Turbo "der nue 911" as Mr. Osterhaus would say.

These extra large HJS catalytic converters are Emitec cores with a tri-metallic precious metal wash coat have the largest possible surface area to scrub and clean the unburnt hydrocarbons.

Bottom line criteria for emissions compliant catalytic converters is that #1 size matters- maximum surface area, 2nd design construction HF/HD, and 3rd wash coat platinum palladium rhodium loading .
When a engineering team achieves the above the Porsche owners get the equivalent of 90% to 92% flow of a straight pipe.

The added benefit is the Porsche enthusiast obtains a 100% guarantee of no Check Engine Light no P420/P430 codes and you do not need an ECU program to eliminate or mask catalysts efficiency. HJS Germany stands along with Fabspeed Motorsport USA as their partner for North & South America.

The Fabspeed Motorsport catalytic converters really add Husky deep turbo charged with normally aspirated sports car sound to any and all Porsche 992 cars and the previous generation 991.2 Carrera cars.

If you can cruise by Fabspeed and take a tour of our facility and see our systems and processes. Typically we have a multiple Porsche air & water-cooled cars on site with the very latest 992, 991.2 GT2RS, Mclaren, Ferrari , Lamborghini and other cars .

Funny you say that we're actually working on getting some more videos of them as we speak haha. I just received a few clips from our friends at Butler Tire that I just put together in a short Youtube video, and they're working on putting some more together themselves. There's also a few clips in the thread linked below that you can reference. The difference is much more noteable in person though, the videos don't do it much justice but that's no surprise haha.
