Yup, and you most likely won't for many videos unless the mic is on the bumper next to the tips which we'll probably end up doing. That said, we would be happy to put anyone in touch with customers of ours running them to get direct feedback as it is most definitely a noticeable improvement

Best regards,
John Gaydos

More importantly. I'd like to hear what it sounds like within the car.

I miss the good old days of just a few years ago when you could rev the engine of a parked car and get a true idea of what the exhaust sounds like. I have a Borla exhaust on my Ford Raptor and it just wails when I'm on the road and if I rev it when parked, the sound it makes is totally muffled. My 2015 turbo cab with Tubi exhaust & sport cats sounds downright evil in comparison when I rev it in neutral.

Sound in cabin does not translate well between real life and sound recording equipment, then turned into a video, then going through whatever speakers you have, with the sound level you hear controlled by a dial that has a slim chance of directly matching the level actually experienced in the car. While I can request to have this done for you during our next round of marketing material, nothing is going to compare or realistically represent the experience in real world conditions. I understand this is an investment that is risky to you as sound is subjective and you don't know for sure whether or not you will like it. If this is something you are truly interested in, please proceed with confidence knowing that if you install it and it doesn't meet your particular goals I would be happy to take it back. While I do expect you will enjoy it thoroughly as everyone has thus far, I don't expect you to keep something on your car that doesn't enhance your driving experience. As Porsche owners and enthusiasts ourselves, the driving experience is everything to us and we stand behind that as a company.

Please feel free to give me a call any time at 4848836197, I'd be happy to discuss this in more depth and connect you individuals running these on their 992s already if that would help with your decision.

Best regards,
John Gaydos

The OP did not state where he is located. IMO. the best sound is when using catless pipes. Unless you live where ***** are tougher enforcing this than rioters, looters and arsonists.
And no, changing cats cannot affect any warranty coverage, except warranty on the cats and emissions. No ***** have gone that far Left yet, anywhere I'm aware of.

I had soul cats on my 991.2 and they were solid, I plan the same for my 992

My question is, with the 96 months (I think it's that long) warranty on emissions for a new 911.... why would anyone change out the Cats?? Is there really that much benefit / power / sound? Risk losing a critical warranty on a very expansive system?

Any time you take it to dealer for warranty or service put factory cats back on. It should take an hour or so.

that’s completely unnecessary. Cats are a Bolton and unless there is an exhaust issue, there will be no warranty issues as long as u don’t have a tune.

We have Porsche dealers throughout North America that sell and install our products under warranty. This is a gray area, it is not a cut and dry yes or no your warranty is voided. The key to aftermarket components on a Porsche and getting covered under warranty is communication with your individual dealer. They are the ones that would report the aftermarket components in the warranty claim. If they know there is no reason to do that, in most cases they will not. Having a conversation with your service manager/advisor about that is always best to ensure that happens. If they are aftermarket friendly and have a good relationship with you, and photos are required for the warranty claim and your aftermarket parts would be in those photos, they'll let you put the factory components back on before those photos are taken and sent off for the warranty claim. There is not a Yes or No answer to any warranty question in regards to aftermarket components, it all comes down your relationship with the dealer, proper communication, and what they'll do for you if a warranty issue arises. We are always willing to make those calls and feel out your individual dealership, we have many times and have worked with about 50 dealerships in North America in the last few years.

Best regards,
John Gaydos

I had a concern about this initially. But my Porsche dealer told me it's quite common to have sport cats installed (and should't affect your warranty). That's why I had my dealer put them on (just to be safe).
