Sort of like Nardo Gray in Audi's I also like. Also wanted to see how the interior sport tex works...how do you like it? Feel? Comfortable over long drives? Hot weather? Wearing ok? Thanks and sorry for the additional questions. Happy 4th July!

That's one heck of a beautiful car. I'm also going with 18 way Sport-Tex seats, 911 badging on the rear, Classic wheels, and the standard exhaust. My Macan is Chalk, so my Targa will be Guards. Gotta change it up a bit.

Thanks, I seem to always go for silver and blue cars. Chalk was a stretch for me... I kept changing back to GT silver... I'm so happy I went with Chalk! It has a very light grey putty tint to it that I adore. It is definitely a chameleon color. Depending on the light it can look more white and on a cloudy day it picks up that very light putty hue... I wash it once a week and the color never seems to look dirty. Very easy to care for.
As far as the sport-tex interior, they are the most comfortable seats I have ever sat in. Thanks to Nick Murray I went with sport-tex interior on my 991.2 and now I'll never go back to all leather seats. Cool in the summer and warm in the winter. They always look new and never any sagging! I hope that helps a bit. Feel free to ask away 😊

Thanks, tgcrun! Your Targa should be beautiful in Guards Red and it sure will look good next to the Chalk Macan 👍

Got my car last week, but haven't had much of an opportunity to drive. Took it for a quick midnight drive tonight and snapped a few cell photos:

It is good to hear this testimonial. I originally specified this in my build but changed to Slate/Chalk. MAybe I head back to Sport-Tex as it is less expensive (no ventilation needed), wears better than white leather, and is comfortable year round. I went slate/chalk because I thought it looked incredible with my exterior color, Aventurine Green.

That looks like an awesome drive! Now, my question is, was the traffic light enough to actually have fun?

You forgot to cover your license plate. Now I'm going to come steal your car. It's a beauty for sure.

Love the look of the Sport Tex and glad you like it - ordered mine blind. Mine will be here in one month - woohoo.

So very true. I recently moved from New England to South Florida, Porsche hell. It had never really registered with me before I made the move, but the roads here are all wide, straight and flat. Zero interesting drivers' roads to go play on. As I continue to prep my 992 order, I'm leaving off all the fun drivers' options like RAS. There's just no reason to spend the money down here.

Several years ago, about 13 of us got together to drive the Tail of the Dragon (US 129, TN-NC, 318 curves in 11 miles) and had an absolute blast! We did have one guy from Florida join us and he had an awesome time (as you would expect). But he bought a shirt that said, "Drive Florida, 11 curves in 318 miles!" It was great.

Hilarious! They don't even have normal cloverleaf intersections here. Instead of exiting to the right through a long sweeping curve onto a highway, they exit to the left, down a long straight-away onto the highway. Aaargh!!
