Default Interior buzzing, rattles, and wind noise

I've had my 992 for a few months now, and it's a great car, but the interior quality is not what you'd expect at this price point. First it was the Burmester speakers rattling. The dealer fixed that by removing the door panels and adding sound insulation. But I still get wind noise (a whistling sound) on the driver's side. Even worse than that, there's an intermittent buzzing/rattling sound from the passenger area. It happens when accelerating, and seems to result from that rather than the roughness or smoothness of the road. And because it's intermittent, the dealer says (of course) that they can't replicate it.

Has anyone experienced these issues? Any common sources of rattles to check? These are maddening flaws in an otherwise excellent car.

Almost 6k miles in and I haven’t experienced any such issues. My US Spec car was an early C4S build with the two diamond keys in the center console. Full leather interior.

This is scary. My car arrived, and I went to test drive it today. I too have observed multiple rattles in the car and asked to get them resolved. The car has standard interior. I will make sure to have a long test drive to figure out any other rattles. 🤞

No rattles in my July 2019 US build. I hope your dealer fixes your car to your satisfaction.

The seat belt holders have a bit to answer for in the rattling dept.

My 992 C2S is a first week of April 2019 build for US. No rattles or strange sound issues. Have 1200 miles. Very solid and lots of rough roads where I live.

I have the exact same issues. Picked my US spec C4S in late Sept. Speakers were replaced in the 1st 100 miles to fix the buzzing. Car is currently in the shop for the drivers side wind noise, interior rattling, and a complete PCM replacement due to it dropping profiles, apps not loading, intermittent PCM shutdown/restart, Nav maps not loading, plus other issues.

Took delivery of my 992 S Cab w/Full Leather built in 12/19 last week. Can confirm the passenger door rattle with heavy bass and there is also something rattling in the back seat behind the drivers seat. Wind noise at very high speed on driver's side. No issues with PCM, but I miss the old homelink buttons.

the seatbelt sometimes causes a rattle sound against the B pillar... which can be addressed by moving it up or down.... however my car almost 2 months into it is rattle free... Burmester not withstanding.

picked up my car a few weeks ago, ironically loads quieter than my 991.2 rattle wise, actually shockingly so. Damn, seems like a wide range here!

Wide range could be due to individuals. I am used to sports cars. I hear people complain all the time about wind and tire noise in 911s and 911 turbos. I don't notice it and could care less. Its a sports car. Speaker rattle would bother me, but wind noise, tire noise and the random rattle I don't hear or care about.

Have a passenger record on their phone.

Was your dealer able to fix these issues? Can you share what was done to fix the wind noise and the rattling?

It has been with the dealer for going 2 weeks as they have to wait for the PCM to come from Germany along with some center console parts due to some of the buttons not lighting up when selected. I’ll let you know if and how they fixed the other issues once I get the car back.
