Interior buzzing, rattles, and wind noise

Owned for 2.5 weeks and I've put a whopping 188 miles on the car. Here is my LONG list of rattle areas.
- Passenger side door panel. Center most section. You can press on the door panel while driving to eliminate noise.
- Rear passenger and driver's side seatbelt buckles. Unless you hook the belts they rattle no matter what. Terrible QC.
- Driver's side door panel nearest the window switches. This is a squeaking sound, not a rattle. Apply slight pressure and noise goes away.
- B Pillar trip on driver's side. Rattles over road imperfections (like a rumble strip on highway). No amount of pressure fixes this.
- Glove box rattles over road imperfections (like rumble strips). Slight pressure eliminates this.

Does Porsche adjust as production goes on in terms of fixing small issues that arise? Cleary this is not a one off.

I have not experienced these issues with my car....so far. Hopefully never will but this thread has me a little concerned. However, it's such an outstanding car that I would most likely overlook a few rattles.....hopefully!

I put 500+ miles on a multi-day test drive of a 992 C2S. Both the drivers side door panel and passenger side door panel rattled as you described. Both could be eliminated with pressure from my hand. Annoying to say the least. Rear belt too. On a 150K car I would have expected better QC. Other than that, the car was an absolute blast to drive and has me seriously interested.

I had a passenger window noise in my 991.1 when it was new. The dealer fixed it while loaning me a 85-mile Guards Red 991.2 (my first small-turbo drive). It was the only issue in my 6-year+ ownership.
My new late-2019 build 992 car has had no problems. Great car.

Three Wheelin'
about to have the dealer remove both door panels so they can install the PORSCHE puddle lights... I originally though these were plug - n - play... alas the 992 requires removal of the door panels... I might as well have them inspect back there for anything lose... but knock on wood, it's been good so far... also hoping the remove and replace doesn't affect that negatively.

This is not a good sign. LOL. I just discovered they actually have a special CD to test for rattles, and you have to pay for it!

I liked their earlier albums better, back before the drummer OD'ed on heroin.

I've bought the CD and for the life of me couldn't fit it into my Burmester - so I just broke it apart and rammed the pieces into various holes in the cabin and it absolutely created a bunch of rattles as advertised.

I've tried this. I'm not sure how to use it to good effect. It makes awful sounds that do cause buzzing and rattling in the car, but it's hard to imagine any car in which that wouldn't happen if you played those sounds at high volume. Does anyone know how this CD is supposed to work?

I've had my 992 for a few months now, and it's a great car, but the interior quality is not what you'd expect at this price point. First it was the Burmester speakers rattling. The dealer fixed that by removing the door panels and adding sound insulation. But I still get wind noise (a whistling sound) on the driver's side. Even worse than that, there's an intermittent buzzing/rattling sound from the passenger area. It happens when accelerating, and seems to result from that rather than the roughness or smoothness of the road. And because it's intermittent, the dealer says (of course) that they can't replicate it.
Has anyone experienced these issues? Any common sources of rattles to check? These are maddening flaws in an otherwise excellent car.

Most modern cars a rattle free sure. They also have about as much interest to me as a washing machine.
A 992 is not about having a rattle free interior. I bet Elle Mcpherson makes a bit of noise too.
A couple of rattles in a car like this really do not affect your enjoyment of it.
It really is a very first world problem in a sub 4 second sports car that can out handle just about any other road car.
Especially when it will be fixed for free at your next service under warranty anyway.
If you want a quiet car, go an buy an S-class or a Tesla. I dont see their drivers smiling much though.
