I know we all love the roar of our engines, but those annoying rattles and noises? Not so much. I understand how even a small rattle can disturb the joy of the ride.
That's why I put my engineering background to use and created an easy-to-follow guide on how to find and fix those pesky car rattles. It includes a unique set of vibration simulation mp3 files - free to use for everyone. You can simulate the necessary vibrations without having to drive around, making it easier and safer to locate the source of the rattle.
I’ve got rattling in several spots as well. Mines a later model 2020. Only rattle I’ve eliminated this far is the rear seat belt buckle (red button rattles on rough roads).
Can you explain the angle at which the picture was taken of the radio frame? I’ve taken the center console apart but can’t locate exactly what I'm looking at there.

and I found the noise was coming from the hard-plastic frame which supports the radio. I think this is the only hard plastic part in the whole car and it was vibrating so badly.
I filled all the gaps with foam and now the car is incredibly silent, No more buzzing from the dashboard/console anymore.
