Yeah, I found out earlier this week, my lock date moved up 2 weeks to 10/20 from 11/4. TYD "scheduled for production" date is 11/06. It also has "start of production", "Production completed", and "Ready for transport" on the same date of 11/20. My deliverto to my SoCal dealer is 1/15/21, but I'm getting PECLA. Though my dealer is only about 20" from PECLA, my SA says his dealership PECLA deliveries go straight from the port to PECLA for prep.

Got some 2% offers but no open allocation commitment yet. Any dealer recommendations appreciated too.
I am in NJ and I was looking for a Cs not a C2S but managed to get a 6% discount a week ago. Was tied into my boxster trade in which I pretraded and I do believe I got a very fair to good albeit not mind blowing trade in offer for my Boxster and so I do think the 6% was legit and not just shuffling of numbers. Had I been looking for a C2S SA said that I would have had to wait but potentially they would have given me a similar to possibly a little less on the C2S. I also did a minimalist spec and so the 6% was not tied into 50K in options

They did. Now I’m freaking out on what to buy. I won’t do non sport design which limits choices on the lots. Ordering one means I’ll need to buy a beater until it lands. This sucks.

Default 992 price

Just got back from putting deposit down today on C2s cab. Order came out to 141,000 and change without discount. He gave me a little over $6,000 off. First time from Porsche so was decently happy with it. Definitely ask for around 5% and they will give u something close to that. Can never hurt to ask!

Just placed an order for MSRP at my local Porsche. Called every dealership in Ontario and nobody was budging. Seems like demand is really outpacing supply up here!

Well, I did my 2020 chalk 991 S buy back today. And I somehow I found its upgraded twin down the highway. I got 5% off MSRP on the new one, way more options that I had on my buy back one and ended up with the same payment. I will take it as a win!

ALSO, My first one had PDK replaced. And steering clunk they could not figure out. Hence the buy back.

BUT! My new 2020 911 S was ALSO DEFFECTIVE! I left dealership and my paddles didn't work. I about **** my pants thinking the car gods DO NOT want me in a 992. Took the car right back and they found that the paddled wires where not fully connected under the steering column.

Porsche needs to step up their quality control. This is the 2nd 992 in TWO months, that was not mint at pickup.

Lease payment was same? It's only a win if you were able to calculate the payment yourself and understand all the components on the first deal and the second deal...making sure you know cap, residual, MF, money out of pocket, etc. along with term, miles, etc.

LEASE? All 4 of my Porsches where purchases. Leasing a Porsche does not make sense to me. I got more car options and dropped a point on the portion I financed. That's what I meant was a win.

OK, you mentioned payment so was wondering which type. So they gave you a better discount than you had on first car and also a lower finance rate. Didn't original dealer try to make you some offer on a replacement order, etc. to keep you as a customer?

Correct. And yes the 1st dealer did offer me an chance to place an order for a replacement and wait for it. But I passed. I dont have the time to wait until April. So I was either going to buy something else (almost looked at a 570S) or buy a beater until the 992.2 came out. But then a buddy of mine told me about a clone of my lemon. So I went to go see it and it all worked out. Well, kind of. This one had issues too. But they fixed it in a couple hours while I paced back and forth freaking out that this was the 2nd bad one in a row.

It was a stressful day.
