looking at getting one installed in my 992, just wondering if anyone here has one installed? what brand and how does it look? can you post your pics, please.
I have the SeaSucker rack as well. Frankly, I’m not sure getting the bars on their own would work with a box and if it did, I don’t think adding a box would be safe with the lift created at speed.

No it would not as the scissor rack can not be removed. Best to reach out to SeaSucker and ask but If it were me, I would not be comfortable using a box with a suction cup style of rack. If I had a coupe, Id go with the OEM cross bars to use a box.
That 992 with the skis is mine, Drive was 3,5 hours each way and i was going 85mph max, average maybe 75mph. No problems at all, rack stayed on firmly. You can put a roof box with sea suckers no problem, here is a video of huracan owner going 200mph with box + seasuckers
I would be too nervous to drive with that setup tho. Specially for longer roadtrips i would just do Porsches own roofbox system and not worry about it going flying
