Oddly enough, I prefer the face of the 992 TT/TTS to the 991.2 TT/TTS

I think I've decided I prefer the SD fascia on light colored cars and the standard fascia on dark.
Great photo. The one on the left looks a lot like mine (a keeper in IMO). What's the year/spec?

The GT Silver was my ‘17 991.2 C2 MT, and on the right my Aventurine Green ‘20 992 C2S MT.

I did love the C2. It was nicely balanced and I could slide the rear end in tight corners. I chewed up some tires with it. It was so solid, never a squeak. I also liked the narrow body and more analog nature. Somebody got an excellent, well optioned car.

Thanks @Dan Nagy. I really like both of your cars. I had a 1984 in the 80s and I’ve been thinking about another one ever since. I recently decided I’m ready, wanted a newer car, and considered the 992, but realized that I actually preferred the 991.2 (feels much closer to my old G-series), and fell in love with a GT Silver 2019 C2S MT perfect spec for me with low miles and the options I value.

Is your order still 'vaporware' or do you have a real allocation yet?
