Default New Michelin Alpin 5 Available For 992

In 20/21 staggered fitments available for 992, but sadly not 991 (yet) but sure you fine folks can find a way around that....

Also, great article by Brian Silvestro at Road and Track and YouTube video review by Jonathan Benson at TyreReviews;

Well, when I do I search, I get this result:

And when I go and manually select the correct Porsche-approved sizes on my own, I get this Important Note:

So I guess you can order the tires. They just won't fit on the wheels that came with the car. As I've mentioned before, it seems Porsche wants to squeeze more money out of us by getting everyone to buy one of their own winter wheel/tire packages.

you’re doing it wrong. Try clicking on the tirerack link I posted above. But hey, if you want me to order them for you, no problem. Just PM me your bank account or credit card info

I'm glad that I secured a Porsche 19/20 winter wheel/tire package shortly after the delivery of my car. Considering the discounting that was available at the time and the fact that you also get actual Porsche wheels with TPMS sensors installed, they weren't a bad deal at all. When the Continental WinterContact tires wear out, I'll try a set of the Michelin Alpin tires. When the summer PZero's wear out, which they will quickly, they'll be replaced as well.

I probably am doing something wrong because I can't figure out how you were able to get that package put together. Regardless, their website says that the correct tire size will not fit the stock 11.5" wide wheels that comes with the car. Btw, I'm not ready to order tires because I haven't purchased my 992 C4S yet. I'm just planning ahead because I expect to buy a car within the next month or so and will need winter tires. Are you 100% sure the tire package in your link will fit the OE 21" wheels?

I’m guessing you’ll need Carrera fitment OEM wheels (if you want OEM) or go with an inexpensive aftermarket option like OZ but if tirerack says a 295 wont fit on an 11.5 inch wheel, I’d believe it. Curious though because Tyre Reviews seems to be running OEM Carrera S wheels on their car.

Well, hopefully TireRack is wrong and hopefully I'm also wrong. But it seems to me that Porsche worked with Michelin to come up with a 21" winter tire for this car that is specifically made to NOT fit the wheels that come with the car. But Porsche is happy to sell you a $7k winter wheel and tire package if you'd like to be able to drive your new car in the winter.

Michelin makes the 305 for the 11.5 wheel, looks like Tirerack might not have them.

But do you have 11" or 11.5" rear wheels? Porsche makes them both. From Suncoast website.

11,5” stock 4S wheels. 295 fits no problem. There was a thread about this topic earlier, lot of guys went with 295 on 11,5”
