Adding to my Macan S, but also to replace my old BMW 328 that I sold not too long ago.

Mine is replacing a 996 Turbo that I sold 18 months ago. I needed to drive something in the meantime when I decided to wait on the 992, so it is also replacing an MX-5 I got to drive until it arrives.

I replaced a C7 Z06. Nice car with great torque but it certainly wasn't a Porsche.

Replacing my ‘14 750i. Loved this car! But after 5 years a little bored and want something more fun and sporty. Had 11 BMW in a row wanted to have something different.

I would have definitely considered buying your STI, though I would have quickly removed the stickers. It sounds like it was an absolute animal. Do you miss it?

Just curious, what made you jump (relatively quickly) from the Carrera T to a 992? Not judging you, I didn't keep my Carrera T very long myself.

Thanks! That is the glory of vinyl wrap and decals — nothing is permanent. The buyer removed all of them and ran it naked for a bit before doing his own wrap. When you got something that performed like this thing, you want to do it justice. 🤪

I had multiple offers for the car. I refused to sell it to kids that would likely get themselves killed in the thing. In fact, I turned down two monied teenagers — “As a parent, I am not selling you this car. I don’t care what your parents say”. A friend who owns a good sized detailing shop was the winning buyer. He loves it.

If I had an extra garage bay, I might have held onto it, but the new owner loves the car so much that I feel like it has a good home. That makes me happy.
