There is an indent space in center console compartment for cell phone. Phone is controlled from button on stering wheel and infotainment system on touchscreen.

I got a very thin wireless charger from amazon, fitted nicely there.

Eventually I'll sort a coil under that fingerprint magnet by the gear lever as my wireless charging point. That acrylic part comes out very easy and it's hollow underneath. Would be cooler if I could make the Cayenne part fit and work instead of all that lost real estate.

Same here. It's as if they planned on wireless charging, then decided not to.do it.

Can you either post the link here or message me the link to the charger you went with?

I think there are USB ports in that space, so assume its plug in for charging. Wireless charging would be better for sure. Will Waze work with CarPlay?.

I was planning to use something like this (just stick it on the black trim in the center console):

Does anyone have any new thoughts on phone placement? I don't want to put the phone into the armrest--I prefer to have it accessible. Anyone using a MagBak case? I've got a manual on the way so the new ProClip console mount won't work for me. That looks like a decent option for PDK owners.

Most of the time, I just keep the phone in my pocket. The battery life of the 11 Pro is good enough that I don't need to have it plugged in or charging to use with wireless CarPlay. I only put it under the armrest for longer trips and/or when it needs to get charged up.

Do you have an non-Apple phone? Is there something that you need the screen for?
When it comes to phone mounts, I like the RAM stuff, because their products are extremely rugged and not some flimsy nonsense. It's clear that they offer products for Police and First Responders. My X-Grip windshield mount has been across the entire country, including a 997 up/down the PCH. Great stuff.

They're stuff isn't cheap, because the stuff doesn't feel cheap.

I just found PROCLIP sells a nice Mount for the 992 and the QI charger also. Just ordered and will see how that works. Hoping that the QI charging will also allow Apple CarPlay to work since you need to either use the Porsche onboard WiFi or the charging port to use CarPlay.
