Can you PLEASE post some pictures that is the exact tint setup so am thinking about doing. Never tinted any of my cars and just want a light tint and good heat and UV protection. Thank you!

Love your car. I'm assuming that's Carmine Red?

Interesting find on the 991 board: https://rennlist.com/forums/991/1120...rotection.html

TLDR: Apparently the OPs experiment with a Solarmeter 6.5 device (which measures UVA+UVB) revealed the following:

UV index with side windows down: 7.5
With side windows up: 0.4
Through the front windshield: 0.1
(UV Index of 0.1-0.5 is completely harmless)

I wasn't planning on tinting my 992 because I welcome/need the Vitamin D, but now I'm *definitely* not tinting it! (And the car looks a lot less gangbanger without tint IMO)

Thinking of doing 50% sides and back and 70% on windshield. I don’t typically like the dark look of tint and and thinking more for heat rejection and protecting interior from sun. Anyone have pics of what this looks like? Thanks!

I do not like the staggered tint look (different in front and bank) and of my 30+ vehicles over the years have always kept it the same. I always used to do 35% but then shops around me stopped carrying it and either do 20% or 40%. The latter is a bit too light for my liking so I end up doing 20% which is a bit more of a cop magnet as they are illegal here. But I haven't had any issues so far so I am keeping my fingers crossed. I just took delivery of my C4S today and will be getting it tinted likely next week or something. PS: My GTS at the back is 20% for comparison purposes.

35% front and 20% on the rest of the windows. Xpel XR plus.
