ugh... you are killing me. Something about black 911s. CCBs set it off... just soooo much $$$.
Yeah it is really hard to justify the cost when you are checking those boxes. Crazy expensive. I promised myself I’d go through with it this time - I had passed on two previous cars and always had some regrets.

Thanks - it's jet black metallic. It has a very subtle blue flake (which also helps hide swirls). Solid black paint is really tough to maintain.
I would classify the metallic flake in jet black as more of a purple hue. I have a carbon black bmw, and that colour is definitely a dark metallic blue in sun.
Rk-d, which colour do your prefer... Jet Black or Arena Red? Arena Red may be my all time favorite 911 colour.

I think that's probably right. It's a beautiful flake, whatever it is exactly.
Re: AR vs JBM -- I think it depends on the car. That color is so iconic to the 993 and on that particular model with its petite but curvy body shape, Arena Red is far and away my favorite color. It just works.
On the 992 body, which is way wider and more aggressive looking - I really like JBM. It's mean looking.

I agree with this. Arena red was amazing on the 993, but I don't like it as much on the modern cars.
