I wish I have the space and equipment to do the swap at home. Our garage needs a good clean up and that’s what I plan to do in the next few weeks/months.
I recently got a 19/20 set from the dealership in Calgary. There are two parts numbers associated with the 19/20 set.

992 044 600A that comes with the Pirellis and
992 044 602A that comes with the Continentals

I’m a little slow to buy my winter tires. Partly due to procrastination, and that it’s just now getting cold enough to need them. Rear tires are impossible to find in 21” size. Called Michelin to find out the Alpin 5’s aren’t scheduled for production in the next 4 weeks (4 weeks of production is all that’s available to report on). Called a dozen places with the only suggestions of all seasons or a 285/35/21 pirelli scorpion ice & snow meant for SUVs. I can easily find tires in the 19/20 sizes.

My dilemma now is whether I spend this winter on summers or buy 19/20 wheels for my winter set. I have been dreaming of a set of BBS for summer and run my oem wheels for winter duty.

easy trade your 20/21's to me for 19/20's and use those as winter and get your BBS rims for summer ....

Easy decision … get the smaller wheels, save money on the tires and the set will be worth something on the used market down the road which should allow you to break even when you unload them on the used market (and no extra cost to for RE and re tires incl balancing etc).

I went down a size on the winter wheels on my Macan and it looks dopey in the winter. I have winter tires on the stock 20/21s on my 911 and it looks just fine. YMMV.

Well TireRack found two Conti Wintercontact rear tires hidden in the back for me. They also claimed to be receiving a new shipment of Conti’s in ~3 weeks.

Is anybody running 19s all around on the 992

235/40/19 front and 295/40/19 rear

My local tire shop offered me contental extreme contact ts830p or Michelin PA4s

iwould ideally want to run 245/40-19 upfront but a little hesitant on running 19s in the back.
wheels are Niche Essen

Just got a 992 C4S in the family and finding a winter option is turning out to be a nightmare. Damn.

I don’t think that most 19s will clear the suspension components at the rear of the 992.

Was asking myself that same question earlier this week. I ended up finding some 20/21 tires from TireRack. I’m still interested if you can find 19” wheels that fit.

apparently Niche Essen, 10” wide running 295/40 clear the suspension if no 4 wheel steering. I’ll know on Monday. This is what the side wall looks like. It’s not that bad and will be practical on many fronts

.

That being said, it seems like I should start considering options.

Any recommendations or other options here?
You may have some luck with SunCoast Porsche Parts. Believe that they have some sets on sale at the moment.
