I looked at Akrapovic and TopGear. What is the Renn wisdom on the subject?
I will be going with JCR when the time comes. There's no better sounding system out there in my opinion.

Wow! JCR has a large selection of cool options. As you said, when the time comes. First I must get through the service. Don’t want to compromise the warranty.

I received my next two upgrade.

The cupholder for my 18-way seats are now going away for a week to get powder coated, and then some vinyl is going on the front and then sealed to protect the vinyl. I'll share photos of the finish product before installation and after installation.

Here is how I hook up mine:

Its out of the way, and yet convenient for quick connect. This will save me a lot of time from removing the cover and using the traditional clamp

Hooking up a Battery Tender receptor/plug for convenience when using a battery tender. Other way is to use the 12v plug but has a couple more steps to ensure it stays on but this way is guaranteed to keep the tender operational and more convenient than having to remove the panel each time to hook it up directly to the battery.

There's a battery tender thread here that gets into various install methods.

I only had 24 hours to spec my car as it was a last minute allocation and missed the fact that I wanted the Exclusive Design Tail Lights so just ordered. It wasn’t in stock where I purchased so have to wait a little longer to get it but price was fair and so was the shipping costs as most others were quite a bit more on shipping.

Did all 3. I already had the 3rd brake light but decided to just commit so I will have a center light available 🤦🏻‍♂️

It doesn’t really look out of place now w/ just the 3rd brake light but needed another project.

When you receive it, please share the part number for the left and right.

I believe the optional "Exclusive design tailight" has the 4 gills in the corner illuminated during braking.

I am contemplating to get the left and right unit with the illuminated fins, if I cannot get the Euro with amber turn signal. (see this thread: https://rennlist.com/forums/992/1257...aillights.html )

Thanks man

Be happy to do it. I saw your post earlier on the amber tail lights and seems so ridiculous. Would be nice if it was just an easy swap out to change the rear to amber.

I'm guessing by switching out the lights, they will need to be re-coded to your VIN... VIN locking in common amongst car manufactures. No too sure if PORSCHE does it, but it wouldn't surprise me if they did...
