added a few items:
custom upholstered alcantara steering wheel from Protechparts.eu on eBay, just got it, but first impressions:
- I’m SO impressed by the quality - the seller said the upholsterer worked in the Porsche factory for 15 years and then went into business for themselves. It shows!
- Perfectly matches the alcantara and Carmine red stitching from the GTS interior package. Why is there an option to pay $8920 for deviated stitching and said stitching is absent from the steering wheel?? It doesn’t make any sense!
- The carbon fiber steering wheel trim has a GTS badge at the bottom that is absent from the 992 GTS package for some reason (I’m not sure if this is from a Taycan GTS, or another model, but why isn’t this included???)
- Custom Red 12 O’Clock Marker
- The seller included some red +/- vinyl stickers that fit nearly perfectly for the Weissach paddle shifters (which he also sells, and they’re not back ordered and are cheaper than Suncoast currently)
I’ve gotta say… I’m pretty used to over-promised and under-delivered items when it comes to custom stuff, so this was a very pleasant surprise
Picking up my GT4RS within the next week (at the port now). Plan is to drive this until my GT3 arrives later this year, which is currently showing October in TYD.
Deal with my dealer is that I can drive the GT4RS until the GT3 arrives then he’ll give me sticker for it. I’m also getting the GT3 for sticker (with PTS) so I’ll just pay the difference in sticker.
Should I just skip the PPF and ceramic since plan is to swap out for the GT3 in October? In the off chance I end up loving the GT4RS and decide to let them give GT3 to someone else I’ll be kicking myself. I do think it’s unlikely given what everyone here says regarding the GT3 vs. GT4RS

If I was your dealer I would give you the PPF just to protect my future car, he can make it up on the next sale with all of the ADM a CPO GT4 will bring in.
