What did you buy your 992 today thread

I just swapped over to my set of VRForged 20/21 wheels and looked at the exposed turbo inlet pipes, stock piping is hard plastic while the do88 pipes are in the $500/$600 range, that might be next up on my list.

Just curious to know if the side skirt will protect a little bit more from tiny rocks pick up by front tyre and hitting the rear fender...?

hello, I guess Porsche thought of those pipes which are just behind the wheels and exposed. I looked on my Targa 4 S from 2021 they are made of soft rubber.

Visual bang for the buck is very good. This really makes the car look aggressive. Highly recommend.

Yeah, I'd be interested at that price but would want them painted to match body color.

Im not sure I would want them painted. There is a rough textured painted area above the skirts that would not look right not to mention my side skirts I took off were pretty beat up in only 10000 mi. Time will tell how bad the pitting and rocks are on these. I’m hoping since they stick out it will protect the sides better. Also I find the black plastic easier to keep fresh looking.

I am wrestling with that very much decision as we speak as well. Painting to match - and loose contrast/visibility that they are there in the first place...or keep OEM satin black that goes with front and rear bumper but may look less elegant/integrated. In my case, even all the window trim and exclusive wheels are satin black to go with the satin black looking skirts. So, not sure.
