Placing the plate on the dashboard would violate sections 5200 & 5201, Cal VC. Still, probably worth the risk . . .

I use this on my Macan and my old 718. I plan on using it for my 991.2 once my plates come in. It is inexpensive, no holes to drill, and its easy to take on an off. It's also center to the car, which I prefer to the offset location using the tow hook.

I'm curious, would a euro/UK plate fit on this bracket, considering it is wider and lower in height as compared to USA plates? A bracket like this only works if it's completely concealed behind the plate. I'm worried it'll show. Any ideas?

I don't know the exact measurements of the bracket, but you can judge from this photo. A standard US plate is 6" by 12". So that bracket looks like about 4" by 8".

Strange. Thats the very thing that makes installation simple. I screwed into the horizontal black "fins) on my 991.2 and its great. I looked at 992 ....same.
