For those of us who live in a state with front plate requirements, does anybody have a good idea of options for the 992, without drilling into the front, and without affecting any of the parking sensors / radars?
I've been looking into Skene Brackets but I haven't been able to get a reply from them as to whether their brackets would work for 992 at all and which size to use.

I'm glad you started this thread kayleia. I was considering bending the plate around the lower lip and into the open center a bit, then up, showing the numbers, as an alternative. I might even consult the 18TH district police on this, since they gave me a ticket 5 years ago with no plate on my 2014 Cayman. Be curious to know other solutions on this thread.

I’ve used Skene on my current and previous M3, and have been very satisfied with their product. I’m certain they’ll have something available for the 992 shortly after it’s released here in the USA.

They are getting strict in CA. Can't park in Santa Monica, Beverly Hills on the street, or at LAX without getting a ticket. It's still a fix-it though, and it really spoils the beautifil look. I caved on my BMW, but I think I'll take a chance on the 992.

I feel ya. I suppose it’s just a matter of time before they get stricter in Texas.

Double stick tape is a permanent solution, right? I don't know about UK laws, are you absolutely required to have front plates at all times there, or is it more lax like in the US? I'd like to be able to take mine off when I'm around town as the cops here in the suburbs don't care.

I'm not going to install a plate until i get a few tickets first. Depending on the ticket amount, i may never get one.
But here in Texas its not a big deal.
