Frankly I think there are enough reviews of the 992 around now...can we please just have the cars (and the manual ones...).

Is it just me or is the new digital cluster very poorly designed and thought out? The functionality or ability to customize seems almost NO better than the 991 which completely defeats the purpose of these new screens. Most of the multi function options seem crammed into that same segment to the right of the tach (same as 991) and when the map display is up it covers over ALL of the important vehicle information ( tires, temps, fuel etc.) but this time with no redundant gauges to make up for it like the 991 had which actually makes it worse in that regard.
At the very least the map display should be moved to left of the tach where almost NO important information is ever displayed.

He left his fingerprints all over this video - and the center touchscreen. Is it just me or are the fingerprints more apparent on the new touchscreen? Maybe it is just more obvious because there is more touchscreen real estate and hence more touchscreen fingerprints...

The Volvo is probably one of the best executed digital interiors (very calm and a well thought out interface) but I still don’t like iPad-style controls. You have to look down/away from the road and concentrate on where you’re touching (lest you touch the wrong tile).
Having lived with a touch interface for three years (on Volvo and Audi’s) I believe they have no place in the front of a car. They are dangerous. Buttons please.
