The PDK adds most of the weight. I'm hoping the 992 GT3 manual will be lighter than the 991. PF exhaust is lighter than the previous one because they deleted the side mufflers. 992 body in white is supposed to be lighter due to more aluminium.

How does the base sound compared to the S? What if both were equipped with sports exhaust?

SC does a lot more that what you may think. Here is a short list off the top of my head.

Dynamic engine mounts
Rev matching in sport and sport + (manual)

Not in the market for a 992, nor have I ever even seen one, but I have to agree with the part in bold.

Sport Chrono was literally the only "must have" for my MT 991.2. Mine is my DD, and I start it and switch into "sport" mode every single day. I don't use the G meter, or look at the clock in the middle of the dash. The Rev matching works perfectly, every single time. It really is a lot of fun to drive in normal driving, especially for guys like me with no talent.
