Weird reason but I think no one minds a Sport Classic version. Bring it on!

2023 will be the 50 yr anniversary for the RS... That would be a great tribute!

Yes, the Carrera RS needs a 50th Anniversary tribute, but certainly nothing like the Sport Classic. The 997 car was all cosmetic and had relatively mundane mechanicals compared to other cars in that series like the 4.0 RS that had a similar price. The 50th RS will have to have the very top spec 4.0L or 4.2L NA Motorsport engine with Dry Sump and ITB's (like the original), possibly making 550hp by then with a serious lightweight chassis and manual gearbox (at least optional).

There really are chances for a manual option on next RS? Or Sport Classic will be like the Touring version of RS.

It's going to be interesting to see what the 992 looks like with a ducktail spoiler on the back.

Hopefully the Sport classic will have the 3.0 liter Powerkit taking the car up to ~ 475 hp.

a Cobb tuning can do better than that
Instead why not the 718 GT4 4liters NA ?

that would be cool but I'd be concerned about the power output.

According to my SA it will have 475hp. I’m #1 on the list. Hopefully worth the wait. Curious how it will compare to my GT3 Touring.

Total stripper 992 Carrera RS model. Manual, lightweight. Lowered, spool the turbos up to 500hp.

Porsche would probably charge 991 911R prices for it but I'd love to have one!!!!
