Default Interior Question

Would anyone dare to put this interior on a Chalk exterior. My build is configured with the black sport-tex interior which does pop but not sold on such a dark interior. I really like the two tone interiors the best.
Not a fan of Black/Bordeau for myself... My 2018 991.2 which I pre-traded was Graphite Blue exterior/GraphiteBlue/Chalk interior. Loved that light two tone interior! Any views would be really helpful. Car locks shortly. Thanks!

I think the 2-tone chalk / grey interior looks really great. It will pretty much go with any exterior.

I think there's enough slate gray, especially in the areas that are closest to the exterior (dash, upper door panels, etc.) to give you some contrast with the chalk exterior. I'm considering the same interior with a Carmine exterior if they ever get around to introducting the manual gearbox cars.

I don't think thats a controversial combo at all... I definitely wouldn't call it "daring". I think it will look great btw.

I think it will look excellent. Try adding the wood perhaps, instead of the carbon fiber ? The new CF isn’t quite as nice in presentation as the previous generation (opinion). More to do with the different layout than the actual trim.

The wood trim will also satisfy the ‘rule of three’ used in design, if that’s an interest. The CF comes close, but it’s still black-ish. The wood will pair especially well with the chalk.

Thanks, Benedict! I like the "rule of three" recommendation, and I like the wood idea.

Thanks for your opinions. I'm still a bit insecure on switching... I guess I'm envisioning white on white even though I know it's not.

In similar vein to the sea of white, I’m thinking of an Alcantara center console to break up the chalk. When I see the car in person I’m less inclined. A few more days to decide ... .

Like the wood trim but not the alcantara armrest. Alcantara belongs on the headliner. BY adding it to the armrest you are adding a fourth finish to the lower half of the car and it is out of place.

I believe chalk is a modern color and wood is so yesterday. I’d go with CF for the trim to give the car a contemporary look. Alcantara anywhere except the headliner is a mistake.

Yes, stealth! You nailed it. I knew there was something I didn't like and that's it. Thanks!
If I decide to stay with the Black Sport-tex, in your opinion, would wood trim be out of place?
