Will try in Sport Plus but that’s not a mode you use daily.
I must admit to be a little disappointment about that! 😕

The new 8 speed PDK is a big step back in responsiveness IMO. It feels very numb/disconnected and the shifts are noticeably slower. Porsche needs to get their heads out of their a**es.

Thanks! Is all the piano black trim covered (including the top and bottom parts with controls), or just the blank pieces in the middle?

The designer was thinking, "Wow, it's already Thursday. I'd better renew my bus pass before the rates go up next week."

Everything! If you want to DIY, remember that the two rotary dials (volume and menu) can be removed easily BUT to put them back you have to completely dismount them (they are made from 4 pieces) and re-mount them in a specific order. It tooks more time to figure out how to do that instead of applying the vynil! 😂

The car looks great and you look very happy while driving it! A week into your ownership - are you happy to be an early adopter or do you wish you waited for 992.2?

Have you driven it in the 911?

Driving it in the Panamera I agree. I did not like it at all. The around town slow speed engagement was TERRIBLE.

Most reviewers have stated that the shift is faster/smoother. Mine has been delayed by a few weeks and should get it in mid to 3rd week of May. I will report back.
Currently in a 991.2 C2S PDK.

Cautery, CONGRATS to your new baby!! It looks very, very nice! Also your choice to go with black break calipers turned out to be the right one. Congratulations and "allzeit gute Fahrt"!

It's funny that you mention the bluetooth error. I picked up my 992 and my Porsche lady was too lazy to connect my phone to the car, saying, I would most likely "know it better than her". Well.....that evening I took it for a first spin and I was really trying for an hour without luck. Next day I brought it back to the dealership and it turned out, they FORGOT to disable "transport mode" for the PCM. Usually, there is only one "transport mode" which counts for the whole car but with the 992, you have to manually disable "transport mode" for the PCM as well, next to the car. Otherwise, no bluetooth for you pendeho.

I'm a little disappointed about some things that HAD to be better but instead are a step back. It's not like if it would have been better to wait the 992.2, because if we'd wait the best car, with the market that offers new refreshed cars every 3/4 years, we would never buy anything. Is it bad that I am more excited to drive my Tesla at the moment? Actually, the new 911 it seems like I've been back with my ex...

I have not tried in SPORT PLUS yet, but that mode is just for the track, not for daily use, and it's a really bad feeling that lag in the shifting in a new "improved" car (I usually switch between NORMAL with exaust open and SPORT). Did you felt the same @DKST ?

I don't quite understand how SPORT PLUS is just for tracks,
beacuse when you shift in manual mode with the paddles, the revs and shifting timings are controlled by you and therefore changes are small in NORMAL, SPORT and SPORT PLUS mode
except for the gas pedal responsivesness and the gear shocks and actual gear connection speed and maybe engine mount stiffness (for boxsters?).

The modes are primarily for the automatic shifts and its shifting timing,
in which case, than you can't really use it everyday because SPORT PLUS keeps the rev just too high that it's uncomfortable and noisy for daily driving.

Maybe I'm missing out something! Let me know if you are using it differently.
