You know, it's interesting --- some dealers quote $ dollars off, others MSRP % discount. We used a 'control' price to negotiate hard dollars off my initial widely disseminated build and that established a % discount. Then we changed some options around and kept the delta the same.
Definitely not leasing, there is about 40K worth of options here so MRM would come into play.
In another thread i detailed how i went about it, basically emailing the entire Porsche Premier universe and pitting everyone against each other since I am taking delivery at Atlanta PEC and not married locally.

I’d be curious too, considering ordering my first P car. Also are there any forum or large dealerships that offer discounts? If I move on a 992, I’ll be doing a custom order. So I don’t really care where the dealership is, just want the best deal and good availability with allocations.

If one is buying/financing better always to negotiate the final out-the-door price, inclusive of any taxes, registration, doc fees etc.
Percentage off of MSRP is oftentimes misleading and useless when comparison shopping given the additional other costs on top off MSRP that vary from dealer to dealer and state to state.
