Fair enough. Still a ways to go to get to the berth. I believe they unload here if you want to stalk the ship from a closer location.

Super excited! I’m in the Netherlands though…

I was interested in the vessel departure date, because that is the last possible day that my car may arrive to the port facility. I did find it though (after a lot of googling)…

I have been at the port since 6/5 but my TYD has not updated yet....still showing 6/23 even though the latest schedule has Supreme Ace as the next ship leaving on 6/27.

FWIW - Lake Taupo arrived at the VW port in Emden yesterday....and the Davisville port schedule shows they are expecting it to arrive on 6/26.
This ship is NOT on the VW schedule but I searched this thread and the same exact ship delivered cars couple of months ago and was not on any schedule's that were posted at the time.
A similar scenario happened with another ship few weeks ago going to Houston I believe - the Neptune Koper - it was not on any schedule and some folks were surprised when they learned they made it onto a ship.

So keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for a similar situation. Worst case, next couple of ships are a few weeks away.
Looks like my car made it onto the Lake Taupo! TYD jsut updated my delivery date from 7/21 to 7/5!!!!

Same here! Looks like my assumptions and digging around schedules being hopeful worked out haha.
I got the email at 11am est and the ship is still moored at Emden but very excited to shave couple of weeks of.

My delivery is now targeting 7/6 based on TYD showing arrival on 6/28 but Davisville shows the ship will arrive on 6/26.
So as long as there are no port delays and our cars clear processing quickly....we might get them before the 4th!

Looks like I may also be on Lake Taupo. My TYD has had me scheduled to get on boat 7-16 for some time now. Showing delivery to dealer 7-6 in Baltimore. Does anyone know if the Taupo goes to Baltimore after Davisville?

Generally, from what we’ve seen, if you made it on a boat your TYD site or app will immediately update once the boat leaves the port. If the app or website didn’t update to the next step you probably didn’t make it on a boat unfortunately.

My website says it left the port on 6/15 which was yesterday and the boat looks like it's in the water! Pardon me, but TYD? Also is there another way without calling my dealer to find out about the ship it's on etc.?

TYD is the “track your dream” Porsche app and website. From above instructions for finding out what boat you’re on:

It is possible to identify what boat you're on with a bit of web browser knowledge. Assuming you're in chrome on a PC, do this:
  1. Go to the TYD website.
  2. Press the F12 key
  3. Click on the Network tab
  4. In the box to filter the requests type "api.porsche" (with no quotes)
  5. Refresh the page
  6. You should see a number of requests in the list but you want the one that has the name "USMGXXXXX" where XXXXX is your commission number and the type is hr (NOT the one that says preflight). Select that one.
  7. After selecting that one, click on the response tab. You will see a whole bunch of textual (JSON) details about your car.
  8. In those details you will see something like this:” ident":"|MO_9283875"
  9. In a new browser tab, enter the url "https://www.vesselfinder.com/vessels/details/9283875". But replace the numbers (only the numbers) with the numbers in your data.
That is the ship you're on. Note that anyone can do this and see more data than what the UI shows. You won't get boat data until your car is on a boat obviously

TYD is Track Your Dream. You may have gotten an email from Porsche with a link to it (though I didn't). Either way, if you sign into My.Porsche.com, you should see the car you have on order at the top, with a [View my order] button to take you to your TYD page.

There's also a "My Porsche" app for your phone that you can download, install, and sign into that provides a different way of looking at much of the same information.

Finding the ship the car is on (once it has shipped):

It is possible to identify what boat you're on with a bit of web browser knowledge. Assuming you're in chrome on a PC, do this:
  1. Go to the TYD website.

Are you using Google Chrome?
Did you hit F12 after the page loaded?

EDIT: Do you have something against your SA? That’s literally the fastest and easiest way to find-out.
