Interesting observation. I looked at my photo and the date was 5/23. This matched the original estimated port departure. However, it was just an estimate. Car is still sitting at the port and the projected date changed to 6/23 since then.
No update for step 8. Looks like I missed the boat. Typically I’ve seen folks report that TYD updated to step 8 shortly after the ship left the port. Oh well, there is always the next one.
I’ve had some updates overnight on TYD. But, if it doesn’t update by tomorrow I’m assuming I missed the Cicero.
My SA should have better info in the PCNA system and have an appointment with him this Saturday.
I hope you’re right and it updates overnight. Last two ships I’ve hoped to get on left in the morning and TYD on a browser immediately updated. I guess we’ll find out if anyone responds that their TYD moved to the next step soon!
Is the port shown on TYD accurate? So in my case it will be going through Houston? Or is that just a generic map?
Since it shows final destination as LA, I'm assuming you're doing PECLA delivery? If so, cars for PECLA that are going to be registered outside of CA arrive via Houston and are trucked to LA. Cars for PECLA that are going to be registered in CA arrive via Benicia. It's a tax thing.
My TYD updated several hours after the boat left the dock on Tuesday between 7 to 10, cant remember the exact number, but I felt I had missed the boat. Hang in there guys.

So sorry. You’re car was right behind mine all the way to the port.
