I wrote to customersupport@porsche.com about not receiving my 4th photo and asked if they could send me all 4 photos. This is their response:
This makes even less sense why the photo wouldn’t exist. If it’s automated, it seems there should’ve been a photo taken. What’s weird is that it seems everyone gets the first 3 photos and it’s always the 4th photo that some people get and some people don’t!

I think it’s just that they aren’t going to hold up the production line to make sure the camera is working and it got a picture. If the picture worked, great, include it. If not, then no picture. It’s not a critical operation.
Looks like SFL Composer has left the port. Hope some of us get good news on TYD that we are on it. Usually it updates the site fairly quick if you make a ship and as of now, mine still says I’m not on a ship.

congrats!! I know there is another that docks in the next day or so that is also going to Houston. At this point it wouldn’t surprise me if I also missed that one too! My car was originally scheduled for delivery in January and it still hasn’t left Germany! I would prefer not to have the record for longest member of this thread!
Today marks an auspicious day in our world history, June 6th, 79 years ago today Americans traveled East, landing in Normandy to enter the fight against the *****. Adding on to the history of this day, not in a global sense but in a selfish personal way, today marks the continued journey of a lowly GT Silver 992 Carrera S traveling West, leaving Germany on the SFL Composer on its way to Houston.....

Not everyone gets the first three photos. Many do, but not all. I only got two photos from the line and the elevator photo. It happens.
As for their answer not making sense to you - what don't you understand? It's an automated system that doesn't capture every car. There's lots of reasons that this could be true, you don't know what triggers the camera, it's possible something blocked out, something was out of alignment, whatever... Things break...

I received 0 photos and couldn't care less. If it is that important surely if you Google your color 911 you can find thousands of pics.

Anyone have an updated schedule showing which vessel is coming next to Davisville RI? The week 21 schedule shows up to 6/17 for SFL Composer which I missed.
TYD showing 6/23 departure which seems to be the generic place holder date for most folks waiting to get on the next vessel with a 7/7 arrival at Davisville.

Certainly a tight timeline to make the Conductor, but not impossible, good luck. If I miss Cicero this week we might be on the same boat.

At least you got a response. I made a similar request and never heard back. In fact, I have yet to receive a single email from TYD, or from Porsche - I just noticed that my order appeared in My Porsche with a link to TYD.
But I did finally get the model car today, so I suppose that's something.

As I said, it seems nearly everyone gets the first 2-3 photos but the issue of not getting a photo is almost always with the 4th one. Just rhetorically saying it doesn’t make sense why the 4th photo is the one missing for a lot of people when it’s automated and should be captured similar to how the first 3 are captured. There’s something particularly problematic with the 4th photo. In any event, sharing the response I got so others who didn’t get the 4th pic can see if.
It’s obviously not a big deal @incoming992s. But someone had the idea of putting up the production photos in their garage and I thought that would be cool to do in my garage as well. Google won’t show my exact car in the factory. These are highly customizable cars and we pay a lot for the entire experience. It would’ve been nice to get the photos and I realize it doesn’t mean as much to every person. But again, not a big deal.
