I use the app named MarineTraffic on my iPhone. They provide free position data using coastal data for free but once out at sea it requires satellite data and to get position data by satellite is .99 for 24 hours. Uses apple pay to charge the .99 cents - very fast and easy.
I was going to suggest one of us swim out there to check on it, but your way is good too.
Well, a miracle just happened. I got notification that my 4S Cab build is finally complete after being shown a delay to July 12. The car is now projected for delivery July 21.
I think it is fair to say one system is messed up - likely the coastal tracking system that vesselfinder and others pull their data from. The coastal tracking shows it as pretty erratic too whereas the satellite tracking seems pretty consistent. Now to exhale...
When a car gets delayed in production, Porsche makes sure it gets expedited for shipping to ensure customers don’t get double-hit with delays upon delays.
Interesting. I haven't heard that before. Where did you learn about this expedited shipping? I'm curious because my build has been delayed months in production and I'm hoping it's true.
Awesome. I set up a “fleet” with just the sunshine ace and added satellite data for $0.99/day and now I have a map with just that ship that continues to update across the ocean. 👍
It's been a lot of fun hanging with everyone, but I'm officially graduating from this thread! Picked up delivery tonight and took it straight to the detail shop for PPF & Ceramic, due to be done on Saturday. Looking forward to getting some miles on her Sunday! Best wishes to everyone else waiting, and hope nobody has the France detour I had to deal with!
Great looking car! What color is it?? Is that a CF roof?
@ss22 those are the T's Leather / Sport-tex seats, and I added the Deviated Stitching in Guards Red. Also red belts, it looks incredible in person.
Very nice! looks very unique and thought out. I did the GTS leather/sport tex seats on mine with the speed blue deviated stitching, blue trim and seatbelts, and think it’ll tie together really well. Now if I’ll ever see it in flesh!

Thanks Cartod! Ice Grey Metallic and yes on the CF roof, had to check that option and it looks incredible! For reference, the Cayenne in the background is chalk.

Looks fantastic. I, too, got IGM and a CF roof. So, happy I decided that route after finding out PTS was totally out of the question.
