Odd that my TYD hasn’t updated when my SA said my car had left Benicia and was headed to the dealership yesterday…
Maybe Porsche doesn’t expect people to obsess over it and check all the time so it’s fine if it doesn’t update regularly… If that’s the case I suggest that whatever PM signed off on this design should perhaps subscribe to a few Rennlist threads like this one…
13 days now in Benicia... SA says it might leave the port Monday or Tuesday and head to the dealership. Maybe I'll see my car this week? I guess after multiple years waiting, a few more days is no big deal. One interesting note is that the Monroney sticker was created on 4/19 so I guess it's officially a car now. In the "About my Vehicle" section it showed up in the Window Sticker section. So maybe we are close...
My tyd hasn’t updated since 4/14 when it arrived at the port for shipping. My SA says he doesn’t have any more info. This is my first order. I am wondering what to expect
For anyone that got a massive delay between steps 4 and 5, I received an update this morning.
Originally my Step 5 showed that it would be complete on 4/21, then on 4/21 it shifted to 5/15 which pushed my delivery date our by almost a month.
Today (4/24) TYD shows that step 5 was complete as of 4/23 - only 2 days after the date that it showed before the huge delay.
My delivery date is also back on schedule, now showing delivery on 5/25, when just a couple of days ago it was showing delivery as 6/17.
Things look to be back on track, now it’s time to get to the port and get onto a ship. It would be great to know who else is at the port waiting, or on the way to the port so we can track this together.
From some of the shipping schedules that have been posted here it looks like getting onto the Siem Confucius in early May is my best bet.
My car goes to the port Baltimore, does anyone have instructions for those of us that are now at the stage of trying to figure out what boat we need to get onto? I don’t know that the shipping schedule that I’ve seen is the most complete, or accurate since I have know idea where to find the updated shipping schedules.

Im excited to be another step closer today!
mine did that on 4/14 and said 4/15 it would leave. It brought my date back too. Then it updated today to say itll get on a boat 5/8
My car has been at Emden since 4/19 with an original TYD date to leave port 4/20 to Davisville. Update this morning showing 5/8 for departure with a dealer arrival of 5/30 (originally 5/12).
I thought my car was on the SFL Conductor but after this update it's not looking like that's the case.

It sounds like we are both hoping to get onto the Siem Confucius then. At least you are at the port already, I still need to get there in time.
Do you know if Siem Confucius is the next ship headed to the east coast?

My car arrived at the dealer yesterday out of the blue. Yours should be close behind. It appears like cars designated for local dealers are offloaded last. Interestingly, step 10 is still grayed out but step 11 is red...
As we all know, TYD isn’t always updated in real-time and the dates for milestones are set on a weekly schedule (for example, my projected dates are always on a Tuesday). It seems that if a projected date is passed without TYD being updated on/before that date (whether because that milestone is actually delayed or no one has updated the system), then TYD automatically kicks out all other dates a couple weeks or more to account for what it perceives as a delay. Once the milestone is actually updated in the system, all other dates adjust back. I think this is why some folks initially see a huge delay but then then once the real milestone date is updated, their future dates get adjusted back to have little or no delay.
It can't be stated enough, but especially after the last 3 months I think it needs to be stated anyway:
The forward looking dates in TYD are estimates only. They can and likely will shift as your car moves through the process.
The only dates set in stone are the ones that have passed and been completed
Ship dates in particular are NOT based on actual shipping schedules. Just because TYD says your car will depart Emden on a certain date doesn't mean it actually will..
DO NOT ASSUME YOUR CAR WILL GET LOADED ON THE FIRST SHIP TO ARRIVE IN EMDEN GOING TO YOUR DESTINATION PORT. Based on the activity in this thread over the past 3 months it's likely that you car will sit for 10 days or longer depending on the destination before being loaded onto a ship.
