Is this what your TYD showed today. It says estimated 12/23 but lists Siem Aristotle which sailed today.

 

No the sales manager called me. We were laughing about my TYD. Honest I can't really drive the car so Feb works fine!! His info showed the boat is gone!!

 

I’ve tried use the photo and GPS hack on TRACK YOUR DREAM both on a Mac and PC using chrome and Microsoft edge to find my GPS coordinates.

I was only able to find one photo of the vehicle and only one VIN number and there’s nothing to expand so I can’t find GPS coordinates. Tracker says the vehicle has arrived at Emden port as of 12/21.

does anyone know how to locate the multiple Vin numbers to expand and see the GPS coordinates? I can’t seem to get this to work.

 

I might be missing the boat on this (pun intended) but is the idea to check the coordinates to see if your car is in the middle of the ocean aka making the boat despite TYD saying arrived at Emden (with the assumption that TYD isn't updating in real time?)

I did the inspect code thing and will try again to see if I can figure out the GPS coordinate if the strategy is above. Based on what I saw from the code it just indicated the car is still at Emden so it is unclear to me what additional information this code hacking is supposed to provide. Maybe I'm not understanding something

 

Ok I found my coordinates it just says it's at Emden. Provides no additional information than what is showing in TYD nless I'm missing something.

So to find this:
TYD-> right click->inspect -> refresh page - > click network on the top -> sort by name - > find list of VPNs- > for me it's like the 10-12th one down the list-> coordinates -> copy the coordinate paste into google -> see it's at Emden.

I still have no idea why I went through all this to see it's at Emden which TYD says already?

 

After I sort by name…. How do I find list of VPNs? If I sort by name how do I find VPN? Under type what is it? Is it a script or something else? I’m not seeing anything that says VPN.

 

The factory is closed for the Holidays.They reopen January 3rd I think.

 

TYD just updated to show my car is at the dealer. The last mile is truly the worst. There's nothing more to refresh feverishly, no more ships to track. I just have to twiddle my thumbs and wait for the call that it's completed PDI.

 

When/how do I get the iconic 'during the build' photo? Production for me is 12/21-1/6. Also my VIN isnt on there, my SA says it should be available. I found it using the 'inspect' to look at V status.

 

Anyone knows the schedule of the vessels for the West Coast, My TYD shows my car should be on the vesel on 12/23, but looking at Emden port I see no vessels departing, the only one I see is SIAM Aristotel that left for the East Coast.

 

The Glovis vessels go to the West Coast for the VW Group.
My guess is that your car will be on the Glovis Splendor.

MyTYD showed 12/23 on vessel estimated until yesterday when it showed actual date 12/22 on Siem Aristotle. My salesman called me this morning and confirmed it. At Emden since 11/24.

 

Glovis Courage is at the Panama canal. Right on schedule. Next ...
