It was Houston but now Volkswagen group has recently switched to Freeport, TX. My TYD says Houston but it should be going to Freeport based on when that port was opened. What I'm confused about is that's where I thought it was supposed to go after Jacksonville but when I'm tracking the SFL Composer online, it's saying Tuxpan, Mexico. Anyone else ever see that as a stop?

It is possible to identify what boat you're on with a bit of web browser knowledge. Assuming you're using Chrome on a PC, do this:
- Go to the TYD website.
- Press the F12 key
- Click on the Network tab (you may have to click on a ">>" symbol to see the Network tab if it is not immediately visible.
- In the box to filter the requests type "api.porsche" (with no quotes)
- Refresh the page
- You should see a number of requests in the list but you want the one that has the name "USMFXXXXX" where FXXXXX is your commission number and the type is hr (NOT the one that says preflight). Select that one.
- After selecting that one, click on the response tab. You will see a whole bunch of textual (JSON) details about your car.
- In those details you will see something like this:” ident":"|MO_9283875"
- In a new browser tab, enter the url "https://www.vesselfinder.com/vessels/details/9283875". But replace the numbers (only the numbers) with the numbers in your data.
Based on my TYD dates I expect to be on Blossom, but I haven't received any updates yet. Car arrived in Emden on the 11th. Per TYD is due to arrive @ Benicia Apr 25.
You can try this and see if you can figure out what boat you are on.

I’m trading my ‘23 cab for a ‘24 coupe which is built and has been at Emden since 1/27.
The next vessel to Jacksonville is scheduled to arrive 4/21 - hopefully my car will be on that - at least 2 months later than it could have been.
Has anyone experienced reduced (or increased) trade in value due to the shipping delay?
Used car values are market driven so did lack of inventory help or hinder car values?

After completed production Dec 14th, my car arrived at Emden Mar 22nd. TYD all blanked out, but in reality TYD hasn’t been a source for about 2 months now anyway. I’d have expected the car to go beyond V300 status but it’s in the right place.
Fingers crossed it gets on the next ship to Jacksonville - receiving the order in July 2023 seems a long time ago now.

I would just walk away now. Might never go Porsche again. There are dozens of new and new like 992's popping up on the market. Unless yours is some crazy personal spec, I would find one you want.....
