Six months ago, dealers in UK were quoting 2-years waiting list. Today, I see new vehicles in stock, although priced at some premium.
I got an allocation pretty quickly when I decided to upgrade. But it's still taken almost 6 months to complete the order and I don't expect delivery until near the end of October. So my guess is if you get an allocation and the build slot is 3-6 months out you still have close to a year wait.

My car made it on the Siem Cicero in route to Davisville! I hope the rest of you guys made it on as well!

I got a message from Porsche saying your car has left the port but TYD has not updated .

For those of us with cars coming to the US east coast (dealership in Maryland), what's the next available ship and when is it departing Emden? My 911 hit the port on 9/18.

Do a search for Baltimore's berthing schedule and you will see dates of arrivals from Emden.

According to the TYD hack mine is still stuck in Emden and missed out on Siem Cicero. Looks like the next option that gets to Jacksonville on 10/17 is going to be SIEM ARISTOTLE departing Emden 9/28 if I am reading all of this correctly .

TYD hack instructions in case anyone else is trying to find this:

Finding the ship the car is on (once it has shipped):

It is possible to identify what boat you're on with a bit of web browser knowledge. Assuming you're in chrome on a PC, do this:
  1. Go to the TYD website.
  2. Press the F12 key
  3. Click on the Network tab
  4. In the box to filter the requests type "api.porsche" (with no quotes)
  5. Refresh the page
  6. You should see a number of requests in the list but you want the one that has the name "USMGXXXXX" where XXXXX is your commission number and the type is hr (NOT the one that says preflight). Select that one.
  7. After selecting that one, click on the response tab. You will see a whole bunch of textual (JSON) details about your car.
  8. In those details you will see something like this:” ident":"|MO_9283875"
  9. In a new browser tab, enter the url "https://www.vesselfinder.com/vessels/details/9283875". But replace the numbers (only the numbers) with the numbers in your data.
