You must meditate or have the patience of a saint. Have you been given a reason why it's been sitting? I know it's really out of the dealers hands til they take delivery but I would wonder (am starting to wonder) if they forgot it's even there.

I reached out to PCNA after missing the last boat (I think it was boat number 6 that was heading to my US port that I missed). They looked into it, said there’s no hold, and the vehicle is now marked for priority loading. It’s been a frustrating last couple of months, but it’s a MY23 so even if I could get another allocation, I’d be paying 10k more for the same car. So, not much I could do aside from try to be patient. I’m sure once I get behind the wheel all this frustration will melt away!

Yep, it’s definitely worth it. You do have me beat at Emden. I was there 9 weeks. Hang in there. I bet you’re on this boat!

Doesn’t SFL Composer go to Baltimore? If you search it’s history it says it does every time it goes to North America. Of course, that doesn’t mean it carries Porsche cars there but it definitely stops there.

Already delivered to my dealer. I was stuck at the port in Germany since mid April. I asked my dealer and they said there nothing they could do..it was scheduled for xx date...the same thing they had said for every sailing date it missed. That I could contact Porsche but there wouldn't be much for them to do...I contacted Porsche. Received email from 3 different offices within Porsche the next day...explaining the FIFO system was flawed and extended apologies. That my car would be prioritized from there on...it then made it on Confucius ahead of the scheduled TYD date, was on a truck nearly immediately in Baltimore and arrived to Chicago a few days ago.

Care to share the contacts you emailed at Porsche? I keep getting told by my dealer that there's nothing they can do, but maybe they aren't pushing hard enough, or don't care to? I don't wanna miss what will be now the 4th ship! Thanks

I was at Emden since May 17th, finally got on a boat in July. Now car has been sitting in Baltimore for a week. I know that I only maybe have a couple of weeks left to wait, but my excitement is not what it was back in May. I'm becoming more bitter with every week that it's been delayed. My SA has no updates for me, it keeps going, "maybe tomorrow", "definitely the next day", "ok probably sometime next week". I admire the patience of those who waited even longer than I.

Totally get your sentiment. But, just wait until you drive it. All is forgiven IMO. It's a stellar car. I've had MANY sports cars given my car ADD, and this one is incredibly good.

Hey, if you go go to nports website arrival and departures and select port of Emden, it gives a pretty accurate estimated arrival and departure times for boats that are in port and scheduled to arrive/depart within a the next few days. Composer is schedule to depart 25.07.2023 14:30.
