Official waiting room for those with a new 992 on order --- come on in !!
While waiting another dealer - one I had put my name on a list for and forgotten about - offered me a GTS at zero ADM. I went back to my original dealer and asked them, politely, if they would match the offer. They did. I'm assuming that I had bought from them previously, am trading that car in, and loaded my new build with almost every option factored in to the decision.
Until you sign the final agreement, everything can be discussed and negotiated. When you commit to take an allocation, you're making a non-binding commitment based on current market conditions. Financial fortunes change and people back out all the time.
That said, asking to do that at the final hour, after your custom build locked, shipped, and has arrived... is pretty bad form. I wouldn't do that personally.
Always remember that the car buying relationship goes both ways. The dealer needs to build that rapport with you as much as you need to with them.

That has to be a RECORD. 2 Days in Emden! I don't suppose you have some lotto numbers you want to suggest?

Got the email that it has left the port. Eta Halifax July 17-21. Not sure on ship yet, but assuming Lake Wanaka as it left Emden approx 12 hours ago. Final destination Kelowna BC. Anyone else?
Looks like my GTS has just left port bound for Halifax! Got the email about half an hour ago. I don't see any vessel information using the F12 trick in TYD yet, but TYD updated saying it's left the port. I'm guessing its on the Lake Wanaka ship as that seems to be the one that left port recently.
Arrived at port on June 20th, and left port on July 7th.

The logistics schedule posted had arrival on the 20th, and TYD is saying 21st. So even if it arrived on the 16th (what it was saying when it departed) or the 19th, it might end up steaming in circles offshore for a while waiting for a dock slot the way it did trying to get into Emden.
Just got an update that Lake Wanaka has been loaded and departed port of Emden heading to Halifax NS arrival on July 18th.
The vessel tracker says departed 56mins ago...I did not yet get an update on TYD - hopefully my GT3 made it on this boat and will update overnight.
Will keep posted.

My car is also at port since June 26th - bound to Halifax NS - I still have not received an update on TYD...really hope it made it on that vessel too.
Lake Wanaka shows arrival on July 18th hopefully will be updating soon.
Otherwise Sunshine Ace on July 16th set to arrive Emden next bound Vessel to Halifax.

VERY pleasantly surprised to have received an email overnight that my car has left Emden onboard the Lake Wanaka!! The schedules I've seen didn't indicate another boat to Houston until the Sunshine Ace on the 14th, so I wasn't expecting an update until then (at least). One step closer to reality!
ETA, Is there a way to know when the Lake Wanaka is schedule to arrive in Houston?
