It happened!!!!
Got a notification in the wee hours of this morning and checked TYD to find out my GTS made it on the Cassiopeia Leader headed to San Diego Now the ship tracking fun begins! Ship ID is 9182277.
For reference, my production was delayed 37 days and the wait at Emden to get on a ship took 2 weeks. Final delivery date was originally 6/5/23 and now shows 7/19/23.
Did anyone else’s 911 get on the Cassiopeia Leader heading to the West Coast?

Nevertheless, you can also just call your SA.
There’s gotta be a way to put this in a place where everyone can see it. This has been posted at least ten times in the past month…

@SilveR316 - Great to see your build status photos. You and I have very similar builds. I thought we were both getting ‘stock’ photos of our builds until the elevator shot. Our build started 5/25/23 and completed on 6/13/23. I wish you well with your new GTS!

Does anyone have any experience in this thread that has taken delivery, where the ship got to the destination port about a week ahead of the TYD schedule, get their car delivered to the dealer a week early?
Or due to transport logistics and getting cars on the transport truck efficiently, has it sat in the destination port longer to correspond with TYD and transport truck schedules?
My TYD shows the Violet Ace getting to Houston July 7th and it looks like it is heading well ahead of schedule. I saw another forum member’s TYD was showing Jacksonville port 6/30 but it should get there 8-9 days before that.
Thanks and hope my question makes sense.

I've been watching the port schedules, they update arrival times regularly and are a better indicator. The departure of the ship to its next port gives the longest time it will take to unload the ship. I haven't figured out how to see the transportation trucks schedule yet. I hope you find an answer to your question.

I wish we could, but doubt we can draw concrete conclusions from any 1 experience. The TYD dates are eta's to begin and are therefore just that, estimates, that periodically get updated for some and not for others. I have watched ships arrive early to their destination just to sit outside waiting for their time slot to tie up and unload. Same thing happens when I fly, they love to announce that we are going to arrive early and then more times thn not we end up sitting and waiting for the terminal crew to arrive.

Further above I posted that as the vessel carrying my car is getting closer to the port, my TYD dates were updated to match the earlier arrival and an earlier delivery to the dealer. Knock on wood though. Many cars have had long delays at arrival port.
