yeah seems like that is HRE's recommended / standard 992 offset.

very interesting that most of their flow form offsets for BMWs are on the conservative side, in some cases, would require spacers.

that doesn't seem to be the case for the 992 - Carrera. fitment is pretty flush.. I'm sure we can push it out 3-5mm but it looks pretty flush based on pics.

was initially going for 20x9 et 40, 21x12 et 59. but HRE recommended their standard offsets.

Do you have RWS and do you know if HRE recommends a more conservative offset for cars w/ RWS?

Hey man, good to see you here.

No I don't have RWS on my car..

I think they're playing it safe with fitment. I can probably live with 5mm more conservative. These are not BMWs where we can really max out the offsets, especially to get the most of the lip.

I'll do monoblocks and go with their recommended offsets. I believe there are 2 other 992 C2S owners who have that offset and they look pretty good.
I think there was another guy who had Classic 300s but was running 21x12 et60 in the rear, which is about 4mm more aggressive in the rear.. but his classics had a lip obviously.

Here are more pics of HRE's standard offsets for reference:

Looks pretty flush to me...

Would a +46mm Front & +66mm Rear on a 20x8.5 Front & 21x11 Rear setup be a little too aggressive for the rear?

No.

Front would be 4-7mm more poke (depending on what oem front you have. The ET53 or the ET50 front wheel.

Rear would only be 1mm more poke. And on a thinner RIM. Stock is 21x11.5 ET67.

Id get 21x11.5 or 21x12 wide.

Love this design and fitment. Would love to see them on a white car with color matched centers. Yes I still watch Miami Vice, why do you ask???

the FF01 for my 718 cayman were pretty conservative. I added a 15mm spacer in the rear to get the fitment where I wanted them. I'm hoping that by the time my 992 gets here in October, they will have released more designs. Otherwise, I'll get the FF11's. I'm secretly hoping they have a Black Friday B3G1 sale again lol. It'll make going a custom color a bit easier to swallow. I can't believe they raised the price $75 per wheel though.

I gave up on looking for plug and play wheels for the 992. It seems HRE is the only brand that has a decent offset and matches OEM width. I just think the one design they have sucks. OZ has one wheel design that matches OEM rear size of 21x11.5. But it has a stock offset which defeats the purpose of buying wheels if a spacer is still needed. Im tempted to just buy another set of RS spyders and power coat them black for a new look on my chalk 911 with those wheels in silver. That or hope BBS comes out with a 21x11.5 FI-R.

I’m looking into these. Forgeline.

I feel like there is more room since I am currently running 15mm spacers front / rear.

Anyone else care to share their offsets?

My initial specs were:

20 x 9 et 40
21 x 12 et 59
There is definitely more room. On this 992 C2S we did 21"x9.5" || 22"x13" while being lowered without any rubbing either inboard or outboard.

255/30/21 || 335/25/22. This will only work with the correct wheel offset and suspension adjustment.
