We just had these AL13 C007R's custom built for a 992 GTS. The car is local to us so we'll be installing them and doing a full photoshoot as well. The car is chalk grey and it's going to be a 20"//20" setup with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2R so I'm quite exited for it. Will be sharing photos here of course. If anyone has any questions about them, give me a holler.
Stunning, David! Wow....

First thing when I confirm production of my GTS, is getting a new set of HREs.

Loved the P204s and P101s for my R8s

Maybe I should get another design.

Plus, any recommendations on finishes for ice grey metallic?

Thank you! Customer just dropped of the car minutes ago. I'll be able to sneak in a cell phone shot for this thread later today or tomorrow. The full photoshoot photos some time next week fingers crossed.

I like where your head is at. A multitude of wheel colors will work well on Ice Grey Metallic because of it's generally light tone. We did one recently with a blue set of ANRKY's and it's one of my favorite 992's that we've done to date. I think a Brushed or Polished gunmetal would look pretty phenomenal and sporty. A Brushed Silver would lean more classy if you prefer that route. I'd love to work with ya on nailing down wheel design, fitment, and color whenever you are ready.

I would like a set of 19/20 with offsets that push the wheel/tires out to where the factory 20/21 setup lines up to keep the same stance/geometry. You can get tires that result in +0.7% of the factory 20/21 diameters (on both ends) by using (Pilot Sport 4S's) 255/40/19 for the fronts and 305/35/20 for the rears.

I like the look of a little more tire though I don't know how much that change would affect handling?

Just curious what the purpose of that is? Not only on the downsizing of wheels but also keeping the same offsets. Theres considerable space between the outer part of the wheel and the wheel wells. I think most people upgrade their wheels to close that gap, myself anyways.

Will depend on how the geometry changes from the offsets will change handling. Going to the smaller wheels might be to reduce a little weight, or perhaps add a bit of sidewall for protection.

I thought I was clear. Determine an offset for the smaller wheels such that the smaller wheels are as flush as the factory wheels. The total diameter of the smaller wheels combined with the alternative tire sizes I listed puts the diameter of the new combination @ +0.7% (slightly taller) so the gap will be unaffected.

I would be doing this because I like the look of slightly taller sidewalls. With the proviso being that the resulting geometry for this proposed setup has to be equivalent to the factory set up.

Beautiful.

I was thinking of a blue color given the blue undertones of IGM.

But, was thinking more of a blue black steel type color and the HRE website color swatches are more bright blue. What exact finish is the Anarky wheel you show?

Thanks! BTW, got 2 sets of HREs from WB for my R8s in the past. Cheers.

I'm glad you like how it came out. On the ANRKY wheel we did a finish called Satin Space Blue which is exclusive to ANRKY.

Thank you for supporting us in the past. I will take extra special care of you on this set as a token of our appreciate for being a loyal returning customer.

It would be pretty simple for us to build you a set to these requirements that you listed. We do full wheel & tire packages so everything would arrive to you mounted & balanced ready to be installed onto the car. All you have to do essentially is jump over to our website and pick out a wheel model and color combo that you love. We take care of the fitment specs and the rear.

From a handling standpoint, you wouldn't be able to see any significant change - especially if the wheel widths/offsets are going to be the same as the factory wheels. If you end up choosing a lightweight wheel, then the smaller diameters would shed a few lbs at each corner over the factory wheels which can aid to acceleration & stopping distance.
