991.2 values after tomorrow night
so there is a lightly used 2018 Targa 4S I’ve had my eye on.. do you think dealers will be more aggressive on pricing once the new generation is revealed? Or will it take until they are available for purchase?

You are not going to see any significant price movement on new 991.2 inventory until dealers have units on the truck ready to deliver into inventory, And even then, it will depend.
Your car is used, and therefore the new cars have little to no bearing on the price.

Cars will depreciate slightly more than if there was just another model year of 991 coming out.
Old cars get older and the market knows what's coming.

The 991.2 values will be more affected by snow and cold than the 992 release. However, availability may balance this out a little.
