@chance6 Ah! Sorry. I didn't realize that you didn't get to order your GT3. Yes, it is a special experience. I'm currently working on my 10 different versions of my Turbo build. So excited to design something from scratch

if cant keep both, buy the turbo for the experience and keep the gt3t so have both....for maybe 2-3 months. whichever keys you grab most wins. sell the other.

This seems to be a rarity, and oddly enough, I spent years lusting over a GT3T manual, but when the time and opportunity arose, I chose the TTS. Hopefully get delivery this month.
First off, i did love the touring and rowing those gears. i have two issues with the touring. 1: i can not stand the stiff and twitchy darty front end. sure the suspension is sublime when in the twisties....but its too stiff and jerky on uneven roads. it throws me left to right in the bucket every time i hit a bump. I dont need that kind of sacrifice in a car i want to use half the week on normal roads. the 991.2 touring/GT3 did not have this issue. and 2: is the lack of power in general. if you want to get the 992 GT3 moving the thing has to be screaming at 7-9k rpm. and even then in 3rd/4th on the highway screaming you aren't picking up the pace like a TTS. the TTS just eats pavement and does it effortlessly. throwing some exhaust on the TTS and its a fantastic package. Basically, i think the 992 GT3 is more track focused than ever, which is a good thing. But for my needs the TTS gets the job done all while being more comfortable.

Don’t forget a tune and exhaust on your turbo and it will toss you back in the seat like no GT3 will ever do.

It's funny, I don't mind the ride quality in the GT3 at all. This is a tough decision. I love both cars if I'm honest.

This is why I have a deposit down for a 992.2 GT3T, best of both worlds, the ultimate combo IMO.

why? its going to be the same as the 992.1 GT3 with some updates and maybe 20-30hp bump. if the .2 is the best of both worlds, so is the .1.................but while were at it, what two worlds are you referring to? because i think the TTS is the best of both worlds when discussing comfort and usability as world 1 and performance as world 2.

Why wait?

Because GT3T allocations are done and I want to do Euro Del with it again. Id have to spec it how I'd like it for a $300k car.

My TTS is stage4 with upgraded turbos 1000+ HP... So I wanted something in a manual, a bit tamer for road rally's etc. And mostly, I just want to see what all the fuse is about these GT3s, if I don't like it, I will sell it. However, I think it will contrast nicely with the Turbo, being a manual and high revving NA vs huge power Turbo.

The 911 reminds me of Pokemon, you gotta catch them all. Somehow they have mastered the art of making each variant different enough from the other to justify getting one of each flavor.

i can relate. i already have another manual Porsche in the garage so the TTS will balance me out as well.

I would really like to have a GT3, but my TT better suits my current use case.

Both are great cars. Similar, but also different. You have to try figure out which you like to drive more, then factor in the financial aspect.

im in a similar boat as others. have a 992 tts and a gt3t on the way. i plan on keeping both for 1-2 years maybe longer to see which id want to keep long term. maybe it will be both or just one. whichever i grab the keys to the most. i don't think the gt3t will ever satiate my love for crazy power and torque. that's tts all day. the tts will likely never give me that visceral racecar feeling im used to, like with my current track focused screaming high revving v8 with a 7k redline. im hoping the gt3t has that covered. we'll see. we are all so lucky to have this discussion.

good luck in the decision op.
